Good lore needs to be grounded in something, and hoyo for GI grounds it in real world myth religion and philosophy. I’ve quit genshin a few years back, but I still go back to watch Ashikai vids just to keep up with the lore. Learning about it feels almost like a myth class, instead of just another element of a story
