i'm also not sure what my go-to gear fodder for artificing should be. i only just set up a factory base that can produce all gear components (it's kyostinv's, i'm done agonizing over my own lack of patience with factory set-up, and aic factory people were less than helpful. "just learn it, it's fun" does not help me when i have no motivation or desire to even touch crucibles with a 10-foot pole and i just wanted someone to point me in the direction of an easy blueprint that won't melt my brain 😔).

since it'll be a while before i've stockpiled enough components to not care about not having enough, i want to get a better understanding of how artificing works and what gear pieces are "most efficient" to fodder".

Select the stat you want to artifice, the gear slot, and gold quality. Search for the item with the highest value of the stat you want. Non-set items tend to have the highest values. Prioritize xiranite components over cuprium when both offer the highest stat

depends on how you define 'comfy', a lot of fangyi team's base ground is just Fangyi Perlica Flex Flex,
and popular picks for flex options being:

• arclight/akekuri/alesh: sp recovery with thermite enabler and their personal buffs
• gilberta: good susceptibility debuff
• antal: general comfort de/buffer + 1 elec stack on cs
• ardelia: same sp usage as antal with her own debuffs and whatnot

some rather not so popular options

• avywenna: works as subdps, also can provide Elec Susc and Infliction
• tangtang: universal arts debuffer but pretty invasive since she has 1 cryo stack on bs/ult
• Rossi: usual stuff where shes splashable for wheelchair comps

most people would just run double vanguard setup as that allows for more sp meaning more spammable skills

You do
100 dmg, with a 100% buff
Thats 200 dmg
Now we add 50% buff falling in the same collum
100 + 150% = 250 dmg

Now, we add a diff one not in the same collum
(100+100%)+50% = 300 dmg
