If your Wulfgard is P5, then I suggest running full UGE gear so he can spam ult. Clannibal usage is good for debuffing the enemy but that means you need to commit another 100SP for it.

For Antal instead of Wulfgard team, it is only used for UltReady content where Laeva can do Heat Infliction herself. Antal does provide Heat Susc and Heat Amp while giving additional Heat Infliction for Laeva

Yes, infliction is what youre looking for. Don't forget you need a matching 2nd line too. You can use tickets to guarantee this stat or the second line stat and then 3 attributes it picks from random. It might seem like it takes a bit to get the perfect essence but you need so many extra essences to max out your etch level that by the time you get the perfect essence you'll probably still be farming Alluviums.
