most people don't play wulf solo. if you really want to, you should have your own ideas on how you wanna do it. not just, "i want to play a support character solo in a team game, give me a way to make it work."

i'll say this with no idea about your strategy, but, odds are, you'd want to buff his battleskill. so pick something that matches his stats, has a good set bonus, and has bs% as the 3rd line.

Most gear I see is tied to the base system of switching between characters. Like you have a gear that is just for buffing, and you keep using skills and activating gear buffs to, in the end, give your hard carry a super buff to delete stuff. But that's only possible with proper teams, effects and passives. When I mean solo run/gear set up is some kind of gear that gives something to the character without the need of activating any kind of swap. If there is not, ok. Just asking out of curiosity. Like, I just wanted to play him solo because I like the character and I don't like others lol.

It's the short dragon boy, the russian (?) waiter and the protagonist. I wanted to use the catcher, but I noticed that he would need too much field time and use the "mana" just for his counters. He feels like a "solo" character. That's why I though there would be something tailoed for him or for any character that you want to use solo.

Other options include Rossi, Ember, etc.

Generally speaking you want at least 1 Stacker, sometimes two and then to fill out the rest with buffers.

'Invasive' buffers have inflictions as part of accessing their buffs and hence require playing around them.

'Non Invasive' buffers will not interrupt your infliction stacking.

If you're new/don't understand the game too well then avoiding both the 'Invasive' buffers and other options is recommended.
Something like Wulfgard + Akekuri + Ardelia would be a "comfortable" baseline. Other teams have higher ceilings, contextually, but that team will clear all content without much thought required

detonation unit's buff is better yes being less diluted in yvonne teams,
however in yvonne team certain rotation will make you unable to proc deto unit so it is just as good as a stat stick

its the reason why people do chivalric virtues xaihi on yvonne teams
