Double buffer is fine in short timelines
Double SubDPS is for the whales

SubDPS include the normal candidates of tangtang, rossi and then additionally avywenna here, etc.
Buffers are your antal, gilb, ardelia, etc.
Vanguards are all of them bar pog

When you stagger Rhodagn he has an animation where he falls to the ground and gets back up. After finishing that animation he’ll enter his second phase. That animation takes about 5 seconds and that’s how long you have to burst him down to phase skip him. That’s why his stagger bar disappears when it’s still at the halfway point.

just how the game is designed unfortunately

whenever rhodagn reaches roughly 2/3rd of the hp he will attempt to go to phase transition

but because you staggered him he wont do phase transition, but it will reset the staggered state

this only happens when you have already fully staggered him

The time limit you have to burst him is based off that animation, and the reason his stagger bar disappears when it’s at the halfway point is because that animation finished.

When he’s in his stagger animation his hp does not matter, it only matters if you’re below 70% hp when his stagger animation finishes. Which is why the stagger bar disappears at the halfway point every time, regardless of where his hp bar is at that point.

Here look, his stagger bar disappears instantly because he's below the 66% marker but it still waits for him to finish his animation where he stands back up before entering the cutscene. The difference it seems is that his halfway break point gives you 5 seconds, but his full stagger point gives you 3.

There's no solving the stagger bar dissapearing, the solution to "one tapping" Rho is figuring out that animation timing and lining up your burst within that window

• Avywenna - subdps option that works with the same sp usage as antal/ardel

Watch out for combustion since wulf cant cs using his bs with combustion on, however you can still cope trigger it using gil ult if there are no heat stack.

If lae ult is available, use it and spam n5. Lae ult ebs when you feel like it.

Whenever main threat staggers, gil ult + rossi ult.

This setup ensures your rossi can cs whenever you apply heat stacks while your lae gets fed without rossi stealing her food.

Its a very chaotic playstyle so just make shit up with the basics in mind

Prydwen is okay for certain units and sometimes only certain sections of those units.

Other than that best bet is finding someone who knows to ask since a lot of sites and guides are not very informative.

Some CC (currently I would only recommend Guoba, Lin and Maygi. That's not to say some others may not be good as well, only that those 3 are the only ones I know to be consistently good) are useful as well but due to the way producing videos works their guides are inevitably outdated by modern content releases.

Perlica wants a lot of arts intensity bc it makes her electrify debuff stronger

combo cdr isnt massively valuable due to still wanting a good offload for link. no vuln applied on cskill means we also get no help in stacking from the cdr.

damage wise it's a downgrade because the pieces are meh and the set effect isnt massively useful.
xiranite still has better team damage due to buffing and swordmancer still has better stagger and personal damage

maybe in future there's a faster rot with new units that might want an extra combo or two over a full rot where qingbo becomes valuable but if it goes too fast the cdr becomes less valued again so it's not particularly promising
