Someone speculates that the success rates for etching the last two levels of each sub-stat are around 4.2% and 2.7%

Regardless of the speculative data, based on the # of coolants required for the last two levels, it would make sense to save the coolants as much as you can to preserve the sanity-to-attempt ratio.

The consumption of 80 sanity nets you 3 essence, and each returns 10 coolants on a failed attempts.

• You need 450 coolants (1200 sanity) to go from +5 -> +6 (Other stats)
  -# 1200 sanity consumption x 2 (You have twp sub-stats) = 2400 sanity
• You need 300 coolants to go from +2 -> +3 (Twilight stat)
  -# 800 sanity consumption x 1

Obviously, the above are worst-case scenarios, and will not reflect true # of attempts.

To find a median value of 'success', I wrote a quick script here to roughly simulate this process.
Obviously, this does not cater to any statistical standards, so don't correct me on this.

a lot, considering you only need to wait for minimum stamina regen in order to dash again with an empty bar (eg, the only requirement to be able to dash/dodge is that your stamina is nonzero, there is no minimum threshold beyond that) -- you can do a dash like every 2-3s with an empty meter (if you look closely, the stamina gauge will flicker red when it's empty, it does that 4x before stamina starts regenning, so you can dash again at that point)

e: @robust meadow it varies based on whether you're simply dashing or excecuting perfect dodges, because the latter returns some stamina....if we're assuming only dashing consecutively with no regen in-between, the ratio is roughly 1 dash to 1 stamina bar segment (you start with 3, I forget how many upgrades there are but just add those to the total and you have your answer; you can check the stamina upgrade counts via the aurlyne submit menu at a TP point)
