Normally, I wouldn't start a help thread here, but I've never had problems like this with Sidestore in recent years.

Okay, the current issues with IKEv2 VPN, etc., are all well-known. There's now a fix from iLoader, so let's start from the beginning:

I uninstalled everything. No Sidestore, no LiveContainer, nothing.

I downloaded iLoader version 2.1.1 (the latest as of April 5, 2026). From there, I downloaded Sidestore Nightly. The pairing file was also automatically created and saved there.

I'm now launching Sidestore and logging in as usual with my Apple ID. Everything is as usual. I refresh Sidestore, and after a few seconds, the following message appears: "Side Store could not determine this devices UDID. Please replace your pairing using iloader"

So again i open iloader, click on "Managing Pairing File" and select the one which is shown. Same issue. I tried idevice_pair and manually put the pairing file in sidestore. Same issue.

Is this issue related with VPN, yes or no? If not im confused. If yes, how EXACTLY do i need to setup LocalDevVPN right now? M yrouter hat the ip 192.168.178.1, my iPhone 192.168.178.69. Empty ip addresses in my network are 192.168.178.58 and 192.168.178.59. So i entered in localDevVPN 192.168.178.58 as device IP and 192.168.178.59 as tunnel IP. Same Issue.

I take a look after enabling VPN in the new Sidestore VPN settings called "VPN configuration". Sidestore automatically grabs the tunnel IP and subnet mask, thats it. Device IP is N/A and Active is "no".

For localdevvpn (or StosVPN) it’s best to use defaults and don’t change your local network stuff. If you have the new sidestore nightly build you can enter the info manually instead of dual vpn

On my LocalDevVPN in settings under Network Configuration:
Tunnel IP 10.7.0.0
Device IP 10.7.0.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

In Sidestore VPN settings:
Device IP 10.7.0.1
then click confirm

Thanks. So i did that, but still "Device IP N/A" and active "no". These are btw the default values, i just re-installed LocalDevVPN to reset the settings

Then close sidestore, connect to local vpn, open sidestore vpn settings and it should say “Active Yes” at the bottom

Then that could be related to the new pairing from iloader hmm

I just updated from iOS 26.3.1 to 26.4 and I installed overtop of my old version. I didn’t have any issue with the vpn fortunately

Btw whats also weird, take a look in my screenshots for the LocalDevVPN settings. Look at the ip of the tunnel ip and device ip. The are switched if you compare the dashboard and the settings tab

Close and reboot. Turn on vpn before opening sidestore
