Currently, to refresh on iOS 26.4, you need to do some workarounds. You can either install a second VPN like some suggested, but the recommended VPN seems shady and I'd personally not use it. Instead, you can do the following:
- Go to settings
- Go to WiFi
- Click on the "i" next to the WiFi you're connected to.
- Scroll down a bit to the section titled "IPv4 address".
- Take note of your IP address and the IP of your router.
- Click on "Configure IP" and set it to Manual.
- Type your IP that you've just noted into the IP field.
- Type the router's IP into the router field.
- Type 1.0.0.0 into the subnet mask field, NO MATTER what your subnet mask was before
- Afterwards, start up StosVPN or LocalDevVPN and refresh your apps
- In the end, go back to the settings and revert it back to auto, as it can potentially mess with your DHCP stuff.
Can I refresh normally every 7 days and with a shortcut without having to do all of every single time?
Like, will I only have to do this once?
As far as I know, Apple doesn’t have shortcuts for changing Wi-Fi configuration so you’re pretty much out of luck this means that you have to refresh and do this every seven days until this gets fixed
This didn't work for me, can someone help? I got the error message "Failed to refresh sidestore: kCFErrorDomainNetwork error -1009"
nevermind
