Currently, to refresh on iOS 26.4, you need to do some workarounds. You can either install a second VPN like some suggested, but the recommended VPN seems shady and I'd personally not use it. Instead, you can do the following:

  • Go to settings
  • Go to WiFi
  • Click on the "i" next to the WiFi you're connected to.
  • Scroll down a bit to the section titled "IPv4 address".
  • Take note of your IP address and the IP of your router.
  • Click on "Configure IP" and set it to Manual.
  • Type your IP that you've just noted into the IP field.
  • Type the router's IP into the router field.
  • Type 1.0.0.0 into the subnet mask field, NO MATTER what your subnet mask was before
  • Afterwards, start up StosVPN or LocalDevVPN and refresh your apps
  • In the end, go back to the settings and revert it back to auto, as it can potentially mess with your DHCP stuff.

Like, will I only have to do this once?

As far as I know, Apple doesn’t have shortcuts for changing Wi-Fi configuration so you’re pretty much out of luck this means that you have to refresh and do this every seven days until this gets fixed
