What distro? Did you install usbmuxd?
Whatever uses .deb
I’m assuming Ubuntu. What is the output of sudo systemctl status usbmuxd
Well I’m using a Chromebook if that changes anything
I swear I downloaded it I
It doesn’t show I did now
😭
So you’re using chromeos?
Yes
What is the output of the command I sent?
That says usbmux, not usbmuxd
Make sure you typed the command correctly
How did you install it?
I guess I didn’t install it
Bold of you to assume they did

Btw do you have any computer that’s not a Chromebook?
Yes
Why don’t you just use that?
Cause Microsoft defender keeps detecting it as a Trojan
That’s just a false flag because we don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for a certificate
Try the msi version
What’s even the difference between Msi and exe?
Ones an msi
And one’s an exe

I see makes sense thanks
Of iloader or usbmuxd
Idk. The only difference is the installer but windows seems to like the msi version a bit more
Iloader
Okay
Msi is like a standardized installer and exe is just whatever tf you want
Apparently
Idk
@grok send help
Yea I knew that, I just dk know why one is flagged as malware sometimes and one isn’t
Oh I meant on the pc that flagged it as malware

Yeah it’s fine now
Is it really tho
@normal condor should add a note somewhere to not try to run the .deb on chromeos if you don’t know what you are doing and that it’s unsupported
Idk how chromeos works
What r u supposed to do

You need to trust your apple id
I did it already
It’s settings > general > vpn and device management iirc
Oh np
@normal condor (sorry to ping you)
Did you get SideStore installed?
If not click the button In iloader that says install SideStore (stable)
