I sent this in quick support but I don’t think this really counts as quick. My iPhone can connect to iTunes no problem and now that it connected once it doesn’t ask to trust this computer. Meanwhile my iPad (which I have sideloaded with the same computer before) refuses to show in iTunes and I have to press trust this computer every single time. It does show up in device manager and connects etc but iTunes and anything that depends on it is broken. I’ve tried resetting privacy and location settings as well as network settings and also reinstalled iTunes with windows. I’ve tried restarting the iPad more times than I can count

im pretty confident its the ipad's issue not my pc's
Hello, I'm having the same problem with my new iPad; I don't know how to solve it and I haven't found anything on the forums. In addition, it seems that the authorization for the device does not even come out so I think it's a problem with the iPad
My issue fixed itself after I used a new cable and reset the ipad
idk which one was the problem
but its ok now
my issue was weird in that my ipad seemed to not work with a cable that my iphone could use (the official apple cable)
If you have another cable test that or if you have another device try and see if that shows
its unlikely to be the ipads fault
