If people could connect to your device over cellular, that’d be a security issue. It’s meant only for debugging purposes so Apple restricted it to WiFi only. Cellular will never be supported, but we’ve had ideas and plans on how we could still workaround that limitation.

We think we might be able to access it over Airplane mode, but we haven’t done much testing since WireGuard currently doesn’t support being enabled while Airplane mode is enabled.
I have other ideas to limit the severity of it by being able to sign apps on cellular and wait for WiFi before being able to refresh them again.
