Hello! How do you install jitstreamer on alpine linux?
Where do you get the preconfigured image?
you didn't start the tunnel
how do i do that?
https://github.com/jawshoeadan/JitStreamer#phone-setup do number 3 and 4 (tailscale doesnt matter)
thanks
i tried that, the tunnel shortcut gives me a 501 unimplemented
dang
are you on cellular?
ok
connected to tailscale
lemme try that thanks
no
it works fine for me in iOS 18 but ill look into it
thanks
Thank you for the info. In my phone appears like the next image. Is it normal? So many text? And do not start the 8080 port.
Yeah I get the same error
I’m on iOS 17
A similar error like this happened to some people on SideJIT where their device wasn’t being detected, and the fix was to update pymobile. I’m not sure about this one though.
Update pymobile and pip and I got the same errors.
fixed my error by regenerating a pairing file
Whats the version of your utm?
4.5.4
the shortcut works now but i don’t think it’s enabling jit
it’s giving me 200 on the requests tho so i guess it’s better than before
I'm not getting it!
No solution. 🙁
Already activate the 8080 connection. But still appears 501 not implemented and 404 device not found.
It misses the pairing I guess…
Are you running the latest version?
I posted on the GitHub
It should now say "starting heartbeat" when u first try to enable JIT
I already tried the version but is giving some errors as shown as in the image. I executed the script update but is giving errors also. Sorry.
Can u scroll up? I want to see the error from installation
When executed the JitStream.sh give this output.
ur supposed to use the AutoJIT shorcut 4 on device i think. Ik its the same but I think its easier because you just press it and then switch to UTM.
Ok. It worked for me. Thank you all.
Update: It gives some connections errors but after a few tries make it happen. The Flycast emulator worked, but play! Emulator not, it dont start.
Ok. The play emulator worked also. I put the data on sidestore and launch jit there.
So, how did you fixed it?
Referring to this:
That linux install is in testing because is giving errors. I am using the first, on the top of this chat.
I ve got a question, this jitstreamer works only on wifi or also in mobile data? I have been on mobile data and is apearing the error 501 again. I will test with wifi when I arrive at home.
1st
Cellular currently isn’t supported
It is like sidestore when refreshing apps, right?
Yes exactly
I’m wondering as well
Never mind. I found it.
How did you fix this error? I have the same one.
Not sure why that's happening, I'll have to investigate.
For now, run source ./venv/bin/activate then run pip install -U git+https://github.com/jawshoeadan/JitStreamer.git#egg=JitStreamer git+https://github.com/jawshoeadan/pymobiledevice3.git#egg=pymobiledevice3
I already run the commands, but it is asking for username and password
Nevermind, my mistake typing the command
Are you putting the app in the background?
I think the 501 error is a pairing file issue. Make sure you aren’t sending your pairing file to yourself through discord. I did that and found out it messes with the format of the file which is why that error popped up for me. Instead, I used localsend which it worked fine after.
LocalSend is a free, open-source, cross-platform file sharing tool that allows you to share files to nearby devices.
its a device issue, i managed to get it working on an another device, but not on mine
