I tried literally everything i could think of and this was the only thing that worked

I reset the pairing file itself, resideloaded sidestore, soft reset the device, redownloaded the wireguard config, redownloaded wireguard, reinstalled sidestore file to sideload, used a new pairing file fresh from download

It should have no effect since ur not using the data when ur wifi is fine
