So i installed all the pre reqs and i installed python , ran powershell as admin , done pip3 install —upgrade SideJITServer , then SideJITServer.exe -y . I installed the recommended itunes and icloud versions and both signed in and authorised. Im using windows 11 pro . I copied and oasted my udid into the shortcut and inserted my local ip using port 8080 , i even disabled my windows firewall with no luck . I can even telnet to port 8080 .

You ran terminal as admin right?
yep , powershell with admin rights
i can ping my iphone from my laptop and vice versa
You have itunes installed?
Or another application might be using that port
I forgot how to check if an app is using a port
can i pipe it into grep to narrow down 8080 ?
Ye ig
i see 0.0.0.0:8080 listening 14916
Maybe try rebooting
i also have htid issue
So i tried this process on a new device clean windows and i still have the same issue - is there a specific version of python that must be installed ? is the latest build a problem?
What’s your pymobiledevice version?
i installed 3.12.3
Try 4.2.3
ok ill try thanks
How do you install that
ok so i found my problem, seems that sidejit was not playing nice with ios 17.2 - fix was to upgrade to 17.5 and now sidejit works lol
So i have one final question, so i need to connect to my sidejit server/laptop with my cable - then go to open the sidejit shorcut , then enable jit for whatever app - then keep that app open and not close it , then finally disconnect my cable ?
