For the tunnel
I'm as new as you guys on this, but I think I figured it out
You all made sure to install the required libraries with pip?
yes
I did
re-ran them too, but it stated I already had everything
so that should be good
I learned you have to run python -m pymobiledevice3 remote tunneld first then do python main.py
Make sure to elevate them as well with sudo or on Admin Powershell on Windows
I'm on Windows, I'm not exactly versed with how this one works on MacOS
Let me check my process, I don't know exactly what caused mine to work
no dice here unfortunately
i even installed xcode
only thing is that the environment wont activate
Try sudo ./venv/bin/python3 -m pymobiledevice3 remote tunneld
sure
i also did that
yea nothing here either, guess we'll have to wait for pegasus
i tried it with a windows device, same error
Blegh maybe they removed/changed it in 17.4.1?
It for sure works on 17.0- something
I’ll have to investigate or ask Doronz
im on 17.0
Did you mount the developer disk? I forgot to add that
python3 -m pymobiledevice3 mounter auto-mount --udid <your-udid>
Next version of SideJIT will do this for you for sure
Nice!
@sonic pilot Yeah it seems you have to mount the disk first sorry, i’ll definitely have that fixed next
do you have to mount it every time you restart the server?
No only every time you reboot your device
That’s why I forgot lol
I’m on 17.4.1 and it detects my device only the tunnel itself doesn’t but I’ll do the usb method
@pliant jackal This is the solution for the error above
Eventually SideJIT will do it automatically
Thanks for ur hard work mate
Ofc
Works! Thanks so much :)
Why was the sideserver method removed? It was so simple.
Sorry what’s Pegasus?
