I have the same issue
You need a new pairing file
is that the file for wireguard?
Mac or windows?
windows
You installed sidestore incorrectly
Here’s a guide on how to do it properly
Here’s a step by step guide on how to install Sidestore via altserver.
Pairing File
- On your computer, download and unzip Jitterbugpair for Windows (64-bit), MacOS, or Linux
- With your device opened to the home screen, plug it into your computer. Once done, execute jitterbugpair. Your pairing file will then be generated.
- During generation, your device may ask to trust your computer. Allow it.
- Zip the file generated and transfer it to your device via google drive, emailing it to yourself, or any other method.
- Within the files app, tap on your zipped pairing file to uncompress it. If you ever update your device, this pairing file will become invalid and you’ll need to generate a new one.
Installing Sidestore
If you’re installing sidestore via a windows computer, ensure that you have the non-Microsoft Store versions of iCloud and iTunes installed on your computer.
- Download and run AltServer from Altstore’s website on your computer.
- Download the latest SideStore .ipa onto your computer.
- Hold shift if you’re on windows or option if you’re on mac and click on the AltServer tray icon. Click “Sideload .ipa” and select the SideStore IPA file. Input your Apple ID and Password.
- Wait until Sidestore has finished downloading. Altserver will notify you when it‘s finished. It’s unlikely that you’ll see it on your home screen yet.
- Open the settings app, open “General,” then “VPN & Device Management.” Tap on your email and then press “Verify App.”
- Locate and open the Sidestore app. If you can’t find it, restart your device and try to find it again. If you somehow don’t know how to, consult this guide.
- Select your pairing file once prompted. Then, in the settings tab, sign in with your Apple ID.
Finishing Up
- If you’re on iOS 16 or above, you need to enable developer mode for Sidestore to work. It can be found in the Privacy & Security tab of the settings app.
- Ensure that you’re on wifi and the WireGuard VPN is enabled. Both are required for Sidestore to function.
- Cellular data can work, but only if you’re connected to it by a secondary device’s hotspot.
- Go to the “My Apps” tab in sidestore.
- Tap on the “7 Days” button. Sidestore will close and refresh. If you don’t do this at least every 7 days, Sidestore (and any other app you sideload) will expire and you’ll have to reinstall it via your computer.
oh okay would i need to install sidestore again after doing the pairing file?
Yes, because you installed it with sideserver
okay
Afterwards whenever you need a new pairing file the reset pairing file button will actually function properly (you’ll still need your computer to make a new one)
okay thank you i got it working now
do i still need altserver on my pc or can i uninstall it
You can uninstall it

Reset your pairing file
You usually can just insert the same one
But you need to reset it
