I keep getting an error but I’m not sure why

When I try to add to or refresh my SideStore it gives me an error “unable to connect to the device, make sure WireGuard is enabled and you are connected to Wi-Fi “ I have done both of these things and yet it still does not work do I need WireGuard on my computer as well because I thought you didn’t need to be connected to your computer to refresh and add to SideStore any help would be appreciated thanks

We want to help you to the best of our ability, but first we have to ask and make sure you have taken the proper steps to installing SideStore before we can help.

Ensure The WiFi AND VPN Are On

Without WiFi AND the WireGuard VPN, SideStore cannot function correctly. Try toggling the VPN a few times.

Ensure You Don't Have AltStore

If you have AltStore installed as well as SideStore, you will only be able to install 1 or NO apps in SideStore!

Ensure Your Anisette Server Works

If you are using the official SideStore server you can check https://ani.sidestore.io/ in Safari for a text output.If there is no output, ping a Project Developer immediately!

**Make Sure You Didn't Use SideServer!**

If you used SideServer on Windows, SideStore will not be able to refresh itself, but other apps will install fine.

Provide SideStore Log Files or Screenshots

Please provide as much information about the error you are experiencing. You can send the minimuxer.log file from inside Files > SideStore as well as in-app screenshots, and that would help us diagnose your issues much faster!

Assuming you’ve read and done what the bot has said; have you tried resetting or replacing your pairing file?

I’ve downloaded the jitterbug pair and plugged my phone into the laptop and tried to do it and it still gives me the same error

I had the same problem last week and fixed it by doing something special, let's check if that's needed here

since you're not instantly responding: I used a different IPA, this one #announcements message
to be exact

and I just spammed the refresh button till it asked my to log in to my Apple ID yk

you did run the powershell script afterwards too, right?

When I do the second step instead of receiving themobiledeviceparing file it gives me this instead when I click on it it just takes me to my iPhone information and backups

Try to run jitbugger with administrator

Your file name extensions are hidden… this probably is the .mobilepairing file

There’s nothing in the guide telling you to click it

You have to transfer that file to your phone & run jitterbugpair again in powershell as stated in the guide
