I like that its drop pod gives you two rocket launchers, and the cooldown isn't bad. It's handy if you need something for heavies without taking up a backback slot with a resupply pack, which most other launchers do.

Yeah, I've still been using the 380 cause I love the big booms, but it's really a crapshoot as to how effectively it would cover an area

The other night in a match we did 2 380's and a walking barrage on the same base, that was pretty effective 😆

I'd agree if it wasn't the same old passives that are interchangeable on different armor types. The only stats distinct to light, medium and heavy armor is speed and stamina regen. Ya can get boosts to armor rating that makes those differences negligible.

It's not like this is a PvP game where armor silhouette helps players determine how to approach different classes.
They should at least let us change the color schemes.

Arrowhead are known to troll the community though so we'll see.

Yeah. I agree and said as much in a different server. If they want armor to be unique to the design then they should have more unique passives. There’s only about 6 passives total it seems. And if they do want the passives to mean something with being tied to the armor then the armor should look unique for having that passive as well. Like for the passives that gives you more grenades then that armor should have a bandolier or something.

Helldivers, the Terminid swarm is nearing the limit of its offensive.

Following a brazen attack by the bug menace on multiple planets across the Eastern front, Helldivers managed to successfully defend a number of embattled planets, culminating with a valiant effort on the planet Oshaune. Though the Terminids attempted to spark an uprising on the neighboring planet Fori Prime as their hold on Oshaune weakened, a quick response from our forces put down this threat before it could culminate into a major attack. It would seem that, for now, the Terminid offensive has been halted.

Meanwhile, the battle continues on the Automaton front, with Helldivers struggling to hold the lines on Varylia 5 and attempting to reclaim the hastily-abandoned outposts on Vernen Wells. Reports are coming in that Ustotu has also been targeted once more, leaving our Helldivers with a war on multiple planets across the western galactic rim. Only time will tell if the defenses on these planets will last until the remainder of the Automaton offensive fleet has been exterminated...

the thing is, the PSN requirement has always technically been there (it's been listed on the Steam page since launch), it just wasn't working, so it never should have been available for sale in those regions in the first place

like, I think all the people who could get a PSN account but are bitching about it are just being babies, but it's definitely bs for the people who bought the game but can't get a PSN

To your point this isn’t new. You could just skip the step at launch and this seems like a common practice with AAA games these days. Activision, Blizzard, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and now Sony since they’ve decided to join the PC market.

I guess the community member who made the cape preferred red for their color scheme.

The second screenshot I posted has the same color scheme as the graph though. Personally, I like it more because it looks like the negative side has bombs dropping and it uses the Helldivers' logo.

I haven’t seen patch notes, but it sounds like they nerfed the shrapnel caused by the explosions from the crossbow and Eruptor

Which makes it practically useless.

Last I checked they got rid of shrapnel altogether so that it's not as prone to friendly fire.

It's still a solid medium to long range rifle with armor penetration.

Don't forget the Eruptor can one shot bug holes and fabricators too.

I usually carry a Quesar, EAT or Autocannon anyway for heavier enemies that aren't as easy to hit on their weak spots, or they take too many shots from a primary to be efficient. I always have an Orbital Railcannon handy as well (they one shot chargers/tanks, and 1-2 of them can take down a full HP titan depending on where it lands).

So from this video it looks like they actually buffed individual shot damage and there's still a small explosion per shot, but it's not as easy to one shot certain enemies indirectly and some actually take 2-3 shots now. You really have to be precise with shooting those vulnerable spots. I do think the Eruptor needs more fine-tuning to make it more consistent and to compensate for the lack of shrapnel damage for crowd control.
