Sometimes you're in an area with no zombies. Check a POI if zombies you're in a deadzone. If no zombies, something is wrong with your game.

With walkersim zombies roam the whole map sometimes you'll be in a dead zone

Yep sometimes you'll see animals and not zombies in the wilderness

Its a chance spawn i think. I don't even know if Red knows the chance
