I have to say, as feedback... the reach on zombies is much further than it should be. It makes knife-fighting impossible, and even at the longest reach of sledgehammers some zombies still hit me!

on SP they feel fine, its MP that unfortunately has this issue but its a common thing in MP not just afterlife

I've previously questioned this, the range is Vanilla standard

If you're in MP then latency and lag will come into play as Anjiru mentioned

The range was fine just 2 patches ago. Talking about the newest patch the arms feel even more spaghetti like. Though as you said that may be due to MP server

I get a lot of zombies hitting me from further away than I can hit them, which is the frustrating part

I can say though, the timing on knife is very tight and I can't imagine being able to do in with ping involved.

I guess I can understand the desire to have shorter zombie reach, it serves to offset ping

it is a vanilla problem originally.

It is just a little odd the reach seems drastically longer, and I am very aware of the PR of zombies. I mained knife up until this most recent run. It is just odd a problem that was not there a few patches ago is suddenly here in force.

But as stated this could merely be a server side issue of lag, so it is something I willcheck into more thoroughly once I have time.
