this would make the food completely pointless though, even if you give it high food but any amount of infection you gained from simply eating it is just too much. while yes rotten flesh is very common, but there needs to be a trade off that beenfits you eating this lol

If hobostew is to increase infection then I would recommend removing the learning requirement for it. Make it low in the list of homecooking locked recipes if anything. As well change the water to infected water instead of clean water. Perhaps have this learned after boiling meat but before any of the stews. Maybe it be the first stew you learn.

it don't matter. The moment this food item gives infection or FPP it will never be made. Point blank. It will become a pointless item everyone throws out from their inventory without a second thought and would rather go get themselves killed to get that 100 respawn food and take the debuffs than eat it. I understand the sentiment, and do somewhat agree, but from a design standpoint it is condemning the hobo stew to the realm of "might as well remove it from game"
