huh? but you gain experience faster by breaking a lockpick. i mean, you break lockpick more often than you successfully pick the lock. and logically irl, you learn much from making more mistakes rather than from successful from a few try or what they called it beginner luck. but yea, i think need something else for us to be able to gain lockpick experiences, like the training dummy thing.

it is often said
that the road to success
is paved with mistakes
and shards of metal at your feet
uh, yes
Bit late on this: But I'd like to see some exp on sucsess too. I don't mind the 'on fail' but it shouldn't be 'on fail only' - my opinion though. 😢
i didnt intend shit with this vanilla scuffed ass lockpicking
Isn't "PRESS E TO OPEN" super intuitive though? 😄
and then rng wait
and go from 22 to 3 and then break 30 lock picks 3>1>3>2.5>3>3
I had a really weird experience this last start. I found one single lock pick, and that bitch opened like, 10 things before it broke
crappy poopy lockpicking nothinggame
lockpick of destiny
How hard would it be to scalp the 'skyrim lockpicking' from other mods?
It sadly broke, when I found others. 😢
kinda hard coz afaik it relies on SCore being used and this mod is very code heavy so i can see a lot of code stepping on the feet of other code
im working on something else but its slow going
Ahh, fair. I do not know coding at all yet, aside some very brief touches of some lua scrips for another game. Plan to someday take some classes
lua, nice
i have a soft spot for lua because i used it in all my darktide modding
but yea classes arent too bad for learning unless they're like "copy this code from the projector screen" and thats all
you learn the most on assignments really
I figure I'll take classes to learn basics, then kinda, self teach by fucking around with my extreme free time
FUCK AROUND AND F- wait, no wrong usage
are you of that anti-AI persuasion
(GOING WILDLY OFF TOPIC HERE) I like what medical fields doing with some AI, but art AI/ext is terrible
topic schmopic
for coding, AI is good for asking specific things, like what does this operator do, why is this happening, but if you ask it to write the program for you and you just copy paste the code, you dont learn shit
That's fair. Its kinda just like, doing google searches ish
yeeee
I look at AI mostly as art/voice things, since thats mainly what I've experienced. Lots of artist friends, who's livelyhoods in danger due to AI bro's. And AI bro's/big corps being like, oh we'll just take your art/voice over and just, make AI copy/regurgitate it!
:(((((( yeah its shit
I remember seeing them recreate robin williams voice and it was just like. Why, this could be used in good ways, nnot.. this
seems a bit disrespectful to the man
(Medical side: There is some AI that is acurately predicting cancer growths well in advance)
Anyway, gonna go afk while not sleeping- but consider lock picking sucsess also giving a lil exp? Just my opinion though- if its bad feel free to tell me off 😄
Leveling lockpicking is extremely slow, I started with level 15 lockpicking as a hoodlum and despite picking a bunch of locks and playing for 30 hours or so, I still haven't reached level 16. Wouldn't be so bad if I could pick open doors to also help level it up.
