I just re-watched GoT video and its Upgrade Medical Room Level 2 that open up NRS machine and allows 2 NRS to be made. Each Utility Level upgrade nets you 2 more NRS.

x - number of plants
y - number of water bottles required to grow one plant
z - cost of one water bottle

round(x * y) * z = water cost

note: do x*y then round up because you cannot buy 1/2 a water bottle

After 2 full harvests, I have 44 buds sitting on a shelf(I used a few for NRS when I needed some). If I turn them into NRS that’s 176 NRS or 332,640KR if I sell them. My Capital investment has been recouped.

Ok so I made a bunch of NRS to test and I put a regular purchased NRS on the belt and then loaded in 32 of the NRS I made. It said I was supposed to get 60,000 KR and I hit the sell button they disappeared but I never received the Koruna

In order to SELL crafted NRS' at full value, you must bring them into a raid and extract with them to obtain 'found in raid' status. This lets you sell them at full cost.

I am working on the water now, that I have some data. I did get some good info from ZstormVR yesterday and confirming some of the info. But basically the water filter remaining life bar is bugged. You can "only fill 6 black thermos bottles or 5 black canteens" with each water filter. Anything over that and you are filling it with bugged water because the filter is depleted but still showing a blue line. You can confirm this by after filling 6 black thermos bottles or 5 black canteens and then go to market and come back and the blue line will be gone or very small.

White water bottle - 3 units
Light Blue water bottle - 5 units
Black Thermos - 6 units
Black Canteen - 8 units
Note: white water bottle blue line is weird, I think its 3 units but hard to tell in testing (confirmed in video that it is 3 units)

So if 18 black thermos bottles is required to fill grow room tank that is 108 units of water

Lets use 120 units as a full water tank for now (until we do some more testing), because I did have a small blue line on my grow room water tank.

To fill with 120 units with each bottle is:

White water bottle - 40 bottles
Light Blue water bottle - 24 bottles
Black Thermos - 20 bottles
Black Canteen - 15 bottles

Yeah good to see other people sharing the correct info for about the phantom water bug,
Keep in mind that water produced from a depleted filter will disappear even if it’s already in the nursery tank.

So you can get the actual game units for the bottles by drinking it when you are thirsty and exfiling. It's recorded in the results screen. Infish confirmed nursery tank is 1000 units.

Hey all! I can add those data points to the spreadsheet

If we have unit counts on all the water containers I can do hours of growing per bottle

With:

  • Cost of Water Filter
  • Value of Empty Filter
  • Units per Filter

I can also do calcs for hours by filter per # of plant
And add the Value per plant based on the already calculated gas costs

Okay here are the water values confirmed by game logs. This does not account for bugs such as not being able to get all of it out. The values are about a month old so it's possible they changed something. Plastic Bottle 35. Water Bottle 49 ("WaterJar" in the logs). Thermos 60. Canteen 75. Water Filter 500. Hope that helps. I can't confirm the nursery tank in the game logs unfortunately.

I have been doing 7 black thermos per filter and it has been working consistently. I did have an empty tank last night, so I am reviewing the video to count the exact units to fill tank from empty to full. My tank now empties almost exactly at 24 hours now that I have 39 babies growing.

Process: All blue bottles. 8 at a time with a new filter in between. Use logs to ensure they are filled up to 100%. 20 + 1 partial bottles to fill nursery tank up. Maybe half of the last one?

There is a bottle logging debug print in the logs right now. I was only using the blue bottles. It was reporting 0.020408% (1/49) being left in empty bottles so I don't know if the debug is off by one or if bottles are not fully emptying. I have noticed that when I relog the bottles will have a sliver of color on the water level.

The faucet filled up the blue bottles 10 units of water at a time. So 1 -> 11 -> 21 -> 31 -> 41 -> Full. I don't know if it substracts the full 10 units of water in the last transfer or only the 8 needed to fill the bottle.

If the full 49 units of water are transferred, a 1000 water tank should take 20.4 bottles. If only 48 are being transferred, it should take 20.8. It took somewhere around halfway on the 21st bottle of water for it to fill so the experiment matches what we expected.

The blue bottle is the only one that isn't a multiple of five. The values I used came from a previous version game logs. If I recall the bottle amounts are 35, 49, 60, 75. For the game logs, just search for bottleloggingamount . The first number is percentage filled (1.0 = 100%). A good text editor like notepad++ will allow you to search for all instances. I don't know if water is wasted with bottles that end in 5 instead of 0. Impossible to know if filter gauge is unreliable

One note on that debug print, it prints twice for every container. I had 8 containers and saw 16 lines of text.

Pouring out into the tank appears to be roughly 2% every 200 msec so 10 seconds to pour? 03.42.20:588 - 03.42.11:198. 20.5 bottles. Somewhere close to 3.5 minutes of just pouring out water. Filling up is 20% or 10 units of water for the blue bottle every second. Didn't try other bottles. So 1.75 minutes of filling up bottles. Obviously more time to move them back and forth. I suspect you can cut off the sink faucet as soon as you see the bar fill up and not worry about "topping off" or anything. Pouring out is more gradual.

Then water filters we would need to figure out how much each costs and what the sell price is for empty ones to get the real "cost"

39 plants at max tier will consume a full tank of water in 24 hours, which in turn would mean we'd need 9 filters.

We can separate math later but if we say 4 NRS per product we can say 1890 x 4 x 10 is gross

So 75,600 - 11,956 for gas (63,644)
Minus seed bag - 7380 (56,264)
Minus 9 water filters

That divided by 10 would be profit per seed at max level

@desert cradle BASE prices - NRS 4725. Gas Can 4985. TakistanSun Bag 132. Takistan Sun Seed 742. Water Filter 3735. Not sure what water tank fill cost is. Capacity is 1000 (not 10000) which is two water filters unless the other team comes in here and says otherwise. Another guy with trader level 1 got those market prices. Best sell price is 0.4 (40%) of base usually. For NRS that's Hana. Trader level affects buying cost with best discount 20% (0.8 base cost) at trader level 5.

A) Not everyone is going to want to do max plants. I would probably leave it up to them to know how many plants they can plant and simplify that.

B) I would consider approaching the water usage differently. If you know the utility level, you know how much water you need per plant to grow to maturity. It would be a constant based on what InFish posted unless someone knows otherwise. See if I can get this right. Utility 1 is 1000 / 624 => 1.720 water per plant hour. Utility 2 is 1000/ 832 => 1.20 water per plant hour. Utility 3 is 1000/ 936 => 1.07 water per plant hour. Multiply that by 72 and you have your water costs per flower. 1 => 115.38 water per flower 2=> 86.54 water per flower 3=> 76.92
Since the bag is such a small cost, I would consider ignoring it, amortizing it into each seed, or do the proper thing and modulus your plants to figure out how many bags you need.

C) For water cost, just multiple water filter cost / 500 * total water usage. I don't know if the filter sells back but you can handle that pretty easily.

converting 390 buds to NRS would take an eternity......I have found that converting "Takistan Product" to NRS is a tedious time consuming process (almost as bad as filling the grow room tank every day). Selling each bud for 4,800 is more effective for me. Every 3 days I can make 187,200 or 1,872,000 every month not includingoverhead (gas, water and seed)...vs 294,840 every 3 days or 2,948,400 every month. If I really need extra cash, I can spend the time to convert to NRS but I have not needed to do that yet.

You went back to the old water formula. Water costs are half. 39 plants at max upgrade should be 6 * water filter cost. Just multiply by two. Some things to consider. Increase your water usage by hour precision. Do it to four or six digits of precision or more. You're calculating 3004 units when it should be 3000. Also, are you going to consider selling back empty containers?

You're going to run into an issue with precision. If it calculates 500.0009 it will probably say 2 filters while the game calculates 1. You can try replacing those constants with the formula and get all the precision the data type offers and see if that makes a difference

Filling it with just 2 requires no waste. Faucet refills 10 units of water at a time so the 35, 49, and 75 unit containers might be wasting water on each fill. Thermos should not be wasting any water. I tested filling containers before some people said things changed. Letting the water run also drains the filter so I'm wondering if the filling technique matters. It's not something I've run to ground. I guess the experiment to test if 2 filters are enough would be using partially filled containers to see if 2 filters are enough. You would have to drain your tank down to 0 before starting and keep the generator off so the plants don't use water. edit: you might could test it just by filling thermos up to the level before it's full and see how many you can fill. Or if the logging statements are still in, you could just count the number of water transfers

Shouldn't selling brownie lump versus flower stick only depend on medblock utility level? You can look at my (deep breath in oh god please not another farming calculation page) work at the bottom of the nursery page. I made it so people could see how the numbers change in table form and how variables affect profitability.

The cards are really stacked against new players. New players can make 21000 TK every 72 hours by just keeping their generator off. If they farm with the lowest progression set you're looking at low 5 digits income. A lot of work for what is essentially looting 3 laser sights in a raid.

I don't know what algorithm it's using. If medical is level 1 , you sell weed. If medical is level 2 or 3, you sell nrs. 2 x 1980 < 4800. 3 x 1980 > 4800. 4 x 1980 > 4800. Nothing else matters. I'm traveling so maybe I have something really wrong. Your calculator includes the number of plants into whether or not you should sell product instead of NRS. Just try combinations with few plants.

There's no way to host a backend with files to call from or refer to like server-sided processing/hosting of data tables. It all has to live in that html doc.

I've just been converting your replit python to javascript and make it run in-line is all. Nothing external or internal run.

I think since you granted access to your econ data tables I can just slap those as variables make it something the javascript can read and call from and spit out what's needed. I'm having issues rendering things on the dom hidden/visible for NRSvsProduct sell when things aren't profitable but you can chalk that up to skill issue. I tried out your latest python here:

Yes. GPU mining is pretty straight forward. It's a rate multiplied by time minus fuel costs. We are trying to get a NRS calculator hosted that takes into account trader level, inputs, and outputs. We have a python script but are currently trying to find either somewhere to host the script or convert it into something that will run on google sites for free.

  • Google sites is very bare bones and can only run stuff on the DOM (look up jquery syntax), no backend/server hosting.
  • Check the embedded code calculator, copy the code and paste it into VScode or any IDE. Edit in your IDE of choice, and repaste it into the embedder code element to test live.
