Hey guys! Just found out about Ghosts of Tabor 2 hours ago -- I was so desperate for Tarkov in VR that I tinkered with UE4 and Pavlov to make this

This is a really early clip, but I basically got the extract system 100% implemented - was very fun working on it during my free time

I was going to work on it more, but then I found about this so...

I spent like 2 days straight porting Factory from Unreal to UE4... That was a massive pain

6 hours straight of mapping materials to meshes

I have about 50 hours in it, it has some nice features but it's too narrow and too focused on eSports

I find it a bit bland

Since they're so they're focused on eSports in terms of the design it's not going to appeal to most people. It's a game made by eSports people for other eSports people.

Also the guns have no recoil despite it having a low TTK and small maps. Everyone is either black or white and enemies glow so you can see them easier. The maps have a minimalistic aesthetic to reduce distractions...

I can see it now: it's going to form a tiny hardcore comp scene that pushes out anyone not interested in comp. New players will get endlessly pubstomped.
