Yeah, there are pretty decent stocks on design sharing sites like this one for the cv1 on thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2057419/makes. Although there are 3d printable parts and guides online for pretty much any headset you'd just have to look around for a while. As for buying a 3d printer, you can find ways around it depending on your location ... at least around here if you don't have a 3d printer, some of the public libraries have 3d printers that you can use for a fee or you can order the prints for fairly cheap either from an online store or you maybe able to find a makerspace nearby.

I've been using the Ultistock with forearm brace for a few weeks now. Once you get it dialed in and run a few raids, it's the quickest stock I've ever used. Especially great for GoT! I 100% recommend.

I've been using my freedom stock sans butt stock for awhile. If you have steady enough arms you don't need it tbh.

I'll throw it on if I'm sniping, but ranges for Tabor engagements are very close usually making having a stock kind of cumbersome

Pro tip. You want the tube to be below the controller. I've never seen people not have complaints about this type of stock. I've seen them cause tracking issues too

It's more of an inconvenience than a blessing for precision and maneuverability and I'm 100% certain you don't want to admit that. Unless it's something that was designed specifically to be easily attachable to your controllers, I see no reason to be so resistant in using the in-game stock mechanic

It might look awkward, but the positioning makes it so when you grab the gun in game, the magnets end up close enough that it just automagically snaps together. Comes with a shoulder stock, but the face-stock lets you line up any gun without calibration. Especially helpful in Tabor when the gun alignment and calibrations are still really bad.

I've used a few and 3d printed a few of my own

I've learnt:

• If they sell spare parts it's usually something to be concerned about
• Stocks where tubes are above the controllers suck and can cause tracking issues
• Stocks from abroad can get damaged 😭
• Most stocks regardless of where they're from aren't meant to be dropped hahah (especially when a controller is in them 😂)

I don't think raidr is best because of any one thing, it's gonna be the best because of all of them combined

It's light, it looks great, you can tweak things if you want, it's quality materials etc - They made 0 compromises

Every other stock has made them, including the 7th.

UltiStock for instance doesn't look like great quality. 7th cannot be customised other than right or left hand where as UltiStock can. There are other examples but these are just the two I can think of

TL;DR - What I'm trying to say is the Raidr is going to be the best. Buy it if you can.

I dont personally use any ingame calibration and I love it, some people prefer the slight changes you can make ingame as well. Most importantly, make sure your irl gunstock fits you well and has a good general fit to assualt rifles

Only reason I'll get the Raidr is because of compromises.

Raidr will be the best stock, they appear to have made 0 compromises where as every other stock on the market has. I'm hype for it but also love my current 🫡

the only problem is that you cant climb at all 🤣

a small way to fix it is to get one string and wrap it around your finger

it'll basically allpw you to climb and interact with items better

I have no problem with the lack of shouldering something, I just have a problem keeping the controllers aligned to remain steady. Virtual gunstock is too finnicky when trying to aim anywhere except straight in front of you.
