Yes. PvE is excellent for training, as all of the loot spawns and such are the same. It's pretty chill, I've been pretty much just running the bizon with my PVE friend

You grab the mag from your pouch, then grab the mag out of your gun while holding the first mag. You will now have two mags in your hand. Next, you will insert the mag from the pouch into your gun, and put the remaining mag in your pouch in order to retain the magazine and the bullets inside. I feel like there's another way that I've done it in order to use the MP5, but I can't remember it so I need to go back and look

thing with gaming laptops is that itll ultimately be bottlenecked by either its cooling capabilities or its power delivery
for both cases its best to not just look at what gpu and cpu it has but also at reviews for the specific laptop youre planning to buy to make sure it actually performs well

I played PVE for the first few days so I could adapt to the scavs and figure out ways to outsmart the bosses and get some good kills on them

I found a very effective way of killing collector and now I have 9 collector kits in my PVE bunker, and I have 4 in my PVP bunker along with 4 ronins and a bunch of other gear from hunting collector

Plan out how you're going to move once you engage them, and stay on your toes because you're playing probably won't work out the way you want to.

Engage the first person with the element of surprise, then pull back and engage the second person with speed. Once you take down the first person, you want that second person to have to guess where you are instead of engaging from where you've been. That's why you break contact, and then re-engage on your own terms. If you engage one and then immediately engage the other and it's going to take you time to kill both, you're engaging on their terms once you are engaging the second teammate, but by planning ahead, engaging, breaking off, and then engaging again- you engage both assailants on your own terms.

When you begin the initial engagement, it may be advantageous to begin with a grenade or flashbang to cause a little bit of initial confusion and chance to cause casualties before you open fire with your rifle. I always carry a smoke on me and use it for that second engagement, or to get out of the first one if it gets sticky.

Plan ahead, use your gear, and fight on your terms.

I can't seem to fight in close quarters even when I'm evenly matched. I think every time I try that a naked with a Mac 10 jumps around like super Mario and tags me in the face before I can really do anything.

Other than that, I'm not exactly sure what I'm missing? I seem to be mediocre in comparison to most, and I make a lot of uninformed decisions that get me killed in stupid ways.

I guess I want someone to watch me play and tell me what I should change? Coaching I guess...

I know how to do some things in close quarters, but it's very basic stuff. I know how to work with a team, pie off corners, and control my sound- but I think that's about it. I don't think I've ever really thought much about or been taught how to think about the battle or the situation as a whole, and how to gain an advantage if I have to fight in that distance

There's more that goes into CQB then pieing corners, combat mindset is a big part in it as well. METT-TC will play a big part in deciding the tactics, positionig, and manuvers you want to do. I think teaching you how to think in a combat situation will be the most useful to you.

Yeah, I'll communicate to the BOA looking to run your session to see if they can teach you more of a combat mindset. Seems like you know what to do but blank when it comes down to it. If you ever feel like your mind is racing in a fight slow down, use tactical breathing, go through your processes. Most people you're fighting won't have proper combat training, your number one goal is to gain the advantage, never fight on fair grounds. Retreat is always a valid tactic, get off the X if you're uncomfortable in your position. Don't take risks. This is a bit iffy close range in a map like silo, decisions will have to be quick. Take rooms one by one, have a squad if possible and have one watch the rear/flank. CQB will be your friend, gernades will also be helpful. Noise, light, and litter discipline are key, listen to your enemy to make a mistake and take advantage of it.
