how long did it take u to learn
I'm still learning but it only took me like 30 minutes to learn how to read
woah thats fast
it's pretty easy
looks simple ig
귀여운곳이네 여기..
가르치시나요? 우리를?
yes anytime~~
I just started learning
안녕하세요
I can read the alphabet now but it takes me so long to recognise a word lol
bro is alive

Helllo

안녕
ㄷ
What did I type
hello
hi
Time to download dualingo
🤔
I want to take this seriously but cause I got adhd and can’t concentrate it’s hard
ㄷ
dont use Duolingo, watch this instead
연
What is that
I wanna try learn how to do hello from the jump
Dam it I did wrong symbol
huh?
ㅕㅑㅔㅏㅓ
wooo
I typed this
good
ok
learning the alphabet is quite easy
All I know the keyboard is split
yes
30 mins dam
I’m trying to say hi but like from my mind without any learning
I know it starts with 만
만?
ompletely different
I just copied the English way
wrong spelling
yes
Wait wa
안-녕-하-세-요
아니요 , 한국어를 배우고 있는
wow
how get ㅇㅅㅇ
ㅇㅅㅇ😂
Role
boost the server and get a custom role
how get?
i don't see
You need nitro
oh..
you need nitro first
and?
ㅜㅜ
hhuuhh?
Like my custom role
ㅠㅠ
Wait so how you say hello or like how are you
여기
Ye
how are you?
Yeah
어떻게 지내?
Idk what I wanna learn first
Use ㅠㅠ instead of ㅜㅜ
What yiu think would be easier
of course the alphabet
you need to learn how to read first lol
first, type d
ㅇ
check the playlist I sent
and j
아닿게
어
ㄷ
E
E
yes!
땅
nono
아ㄸㅎ게
you can do it
어떻게
this type is dkEgrp
yeeeeSSSSSSS
Buy a keyboard with Korean and English, or buy stickers
That will help
@short kraken you too
i dont know but yes
yea i dont buy

as you please
yes
hmm
dffgg
for example "아, 야, 유" is pronounced as "ah, ya, yu", if it's the last syllable "강, 장, 방" it is pronounced as "k/gang, jang, bang" @polar drift
silent
cause i am writing down sounds from the video you sent the consonants
im up to ch so far
but i got m b s li j g n and d
since ㅕ is pronounced as "yeo" should and ㅇ is the first syllable, it should be pronounced as "yeok"
so i did wrong?
yeah
yeah that's fine
if ㅅ is the last syllable it should be pronounced as "t" rather than "s"
for example 옷 = "ot"
but
if it's the last syllable and the next syllable starts with "ㅇ" (silent) it should be pronounced as "s"
for example 잇어 = isseo NOT itteo
(it should be 있어, I'm just giving you an example.)
where
wait
i am slow typer
오ㅆ
idk how to get the small feet
on pc
있 i was trying to make this
있
ㅐㅐㅐㅐㅐㅐ
oops wrong keybored
oooo i did it
same case with this
있어 = isseo 있다 = it= da
옸 옷
s and t sound
wait so what is the difference between the circle and the open box ?
if the next syllable starts with a consonant, it should be pronounced as "t", if it is vowel, it should be pronounced as "s"
what open box
ㅁ?
다
oh so i did it right but it just depends on the other letters next to it
oh so line = a
exactly
it's "ih" if you're talking about ㅣ
ye i was
no third letter so no
oh
dam im only 4 mins into this video i got 32 mins left
i hope i dont fill up my book
you are a good learner and teacher
dam that is impressive
so like do you feel confident now like typing in korean and understanding it?
oh i never heard of anki deck
I'm in between lol
ohhhh
dam
i iwish i was like confident in learning witch i am
but i get distracted easily
yeah but like i do want to try and be good at attempting it
파이팅
😭 i dont undersand
파 i dont think i learned that
practise?
Wow studying
ye
illit
try to read it
oh
so its Il sound
sorry for pinging you if you were busy
아 = ㅇ is silent since it's the beginning of the syllable ㅏ = ah
아 = just "아"
일 = "il
릿 = lit
ok sorry again i just learning with jhin
hey u dont need to be sorry
so 아 is silent?
have u learned korean before btw
this is the best example too, look at the placement of ㅅ, its in the end of the letter syllable so it should pronounced as "t"
anyeong asayo
or something
i dont want to try attemp any other words incase i come across racist
i am just learning
from ground up
oh so the bird feet at the end is always ends in t
and cause this 일 has silent o and the other 2 make il
but because 릿 has l sound at start and not silent o it means lit
yes!
100%
like
capital i is It
so like it at the start of a sentance cause it has to be with capital letter
at start of sentance
is it still same/
there's no capital letters
ah
ㅃㅉㄸㄲㅆ
like ㅃ ㅉ ㄲ ㅆ
yeh
it's just the stress is different,
ㅂ = b ㅃ = bb, pp
ㅈ = j ㅉ=ch
ㄱ = g ㄲ = gg, k
and you'll not hear the difference between them in the beginning and don't focus on romanization of each letters
just learn the fundamentals first
O
why isnt ㄱ k aswell
that's my point they all sound the same.
for example in 강해린 = ㄱ translate as Kang not Gang.
이 in 이혜인 translates as Lee not Ih Hyein.
👍
Why does 강 turn into Kang and not Ga
similar to 김채원?
Or Ka
yes it translates as Kim
Isnt that ㅇ just a Placeholder
but pronounced as Gim
o at the start is a silent letter
감사합니다 ☺️
idk
I know
yes
That is the word for Thank you
joy
?
Sorry

Good to know
Thanks
yes
that is silent word cause o is first
yu would be ㅠ
Ye
But Vowels can't stand alone right?
cause with the o is just same thing
since ㅇ is first it ignores that and skips to the vowel
So they add the ㅇ
of course not

Makes sense
but i forgot what it does when o is at bottom
putting ㅇ first is to fill in
ng sound
"ng"
you alr forgot
similar to how ㅅ on top is s and on bottom is t right?
oh bird feet yes

Interesting
I mean hey, I’m learning myself
I think teuida is only usable once you fully understand the korean alphabet and the pronunciations
do you like understand when people type long words
which is why I held off on teuida for now
no 😭
Oh I got hanguel down
hanguel seems easy
I know how to pronounce every consonant
Just not those extra rules
then do teuida
ohhh
do learn those extra rules
it’ll save you
but for me cause my adhd and like its hard to concetrate and looses focus ect it is hard for me
Yea
but i do want to learn
jhin has a playlist
here
yeah
OH YES
i meant to reply here
even tho im 4 mins in and tbh i not saying i am bored but it is hard to watch the person write letters and concentrate
i just dont want to feel let down with myself cause i know i can do it and learn but idk why i find it hard
maybe my condition?
she’ll help you get those extra stuff down
Nice
probably the first few videos
batchim and whatnot
Cuz I've noticed that I'm hella slow reading hanguel
hanni banner
i liked it
yea so i watched batchin and consonant assimilations
that was very helpful
