I think it would help if I knew how other groups approached US promotions. But I haven’t really followed any closely enough to know what’s normal. Not that Ador does things normal.

But I ask what’s more important for NewJeans to focus on: Korean promotions where they know they will have success, or US promotions where they really need more exposure and general public probably forgot about Super Shy by now.

That’s why I think they can delay in promoting in the US until quite late like January. All it hurts is potential loss in initial sales worldwide. But we all know NewJeans sales have a long run and are in the charts months after song releases.

It depends tbh. usually kpop groups do US promos after Korean promos are over, but there are shows that do not need in person appearance and can be done alongside KR promo (video interviews and selected performances)

however, in most cases, kr promo is cut short and they focus on the us promo.

tbh there arent many acts who have done proper US promo except bts and somewhat twice and bp. they also did that at the stage where they could focus less on KR

kpop is not built same as US music market. if NJ had a similar roll out as american artist, they would do 1st single, 2nd single, album release and post album single aka 3rd single

newjeans triple title strategy is similar to US artists but they cant fully utilize it in the same way due to how different kpop market is.

imo it would be great if NJ promotes one of the tracks specifically for US market.
