i've ordered hundreds of cards off mercari jp and never used anything but lite plan lol they're fairly useless

basically all it does is that they will look at the product and see if it's what you bought, but when it comes to cards etc they're not going to know a well-made replica vs official etc

protective packaging is also pretty much just extra bubble wrap shoved in the box, most* sellers already use toploaders, sleeves, cardboard, etc

only once i got some cards without actual protection and even those made it safe somehow
