So the post season play ins is essentially a tournament bracket to get into the playoffs (the thing that crowns your owl champion).
Philadelphia would need to battle it out against the other teams in the region in a tournament bracket and if they win, they go to the playoffs which is another double elimination bracket.
Think of it like extended knockouts for the playoffs.
