The devs did bring up good points though. They did mention that Overwatch has always been a changing game, and at one point they wanted to make it a 7v7. I haven't played Overwatch in...3 years maybe {still always watch my Philly Fusions tho even though we're cursed} and geez so much changed Ex. the queue for the roles you pick.
That is true, they did mention they had to make a lot of changes to the hero's but it didn't look like it was an entirely different game, so that's good at least.
I can tell the announcers and the devs really have a fun time with what they do and seem to love the game. It was really how they were answering the questions that won me over. Maybe I'm just being naive but I play Paladins since it's free and I have a good time with that too.
