Have they produced as much talent? no, but owl straight up killed the pro scene in south america as an example before it could even develope. South america has t1 teams in pretty much every other esport its not a coincidence. Same thing happened in europe aswell to a lesser extenct with owl becoming NA/korea centric. Its hard to develop a scene if there isnt opportunity. Thats why the best way is to establish a pro scene in many regions, and adjusting the amount of pricemoney and major spots by the level of talent
