2024- ACT-Bz stays out of the tournament space. They simply set up a set of rules for TOs to abide by, maybe give the assets from the OWl to each company to keep some cohesion. In game purchases can increase tournament pot for teams.
2025- Blizzard returns to Premier Overwatch Esports in collaboration with different tournament organizer circuits to create localized tournaments/regions allowing fans to root for their specific region.
Each tournament will generate X amounts of points for teams until the end of the year where a world championship is held.
