but since it's obviously been custom maintained it could have simply evolved to also mean eighth iteration
and the overwatch 2 armour looks even more custom-made with influences from brigitte/torbjorn
so it makes sense they'd increment the number to show that it's improved and also moved further away from the original manufactured design
