Unlikely doesn't mean impossible however. There isnt any other event happening, and a few heroes do have some unique designs from the series that don't exist as skins yet

Technically, Archives is the next coming event. However, considering the circumstances, it’s possible that the event will be skipped this time around

Possibly, if we’re lucky, for Overwatch 2 since something is coming in April for it

It’s a closed beta, but hearing the words alpha for the game has me wondering if the game is coming either in April or the following month

The problem with archives is that it gets monotonous with the area and scope

If you want something from 10-5 years ago, your choices are:

Support: Ana, Mercy, Moira (BW only)

Tank: Rein, Winston

DPS: Cassidy, Genji, Reyes, Jack, Torb, Tracer

#

You can throw in Sojourn to that last section

#

But at the end of it, you're still just repeating a lot of heroes for old events with a limited capacity

#

Plus if you do Talon... You have a lot of the same problems

#

You can either do:

Support: Moira, Baptiste

Tank: Sigma (???), Doomfist (???)

DPS: Reaper, Sombra, Widow

#

And of those, Reaper and Doomfist are mutually exclusive

They cannot share a mission

The Orisa novel is mostly about Efi. It is a kids book, but its fine for what it is. It was written to appeal to kids but explores some interesting stuff about the world. Doomfist is also a fantastic villain.

The Ashe novel is about Ashe and McCree starting the Deadlock Gang. Its a young adults book as well, but its written to more high school rather than middle school imo. Semantics either way, but I prefer that one.

The plot is minor. Its one of Reaper's first missions in Talon, around 5 years ago, where he and Sombra go to retrieve Sigma.

What is more important is how it reveals a lot of Reaper's character and motivations.
