If I'm remembering correctly multiple members were already telling him to hang it up before he was discharged, which indicates to me he could have retired at any point if he so chose.

In, "What You Left Behind," it's said that when Mauga got angry, Baptiste was the only one who could calm him down. Also, Mauga let Baptiste get away from Talon. He treats Baptiste like an old friend, granted, also like an enemy. He's kind of passive aggressive(?) if you'd like.

I think Mauga is a lot like McCree in some ways.
They both seem to be fools/idiots but are both really smart and not to be underestimated.

But I really want more Mauga and Baptiste lore.
I want to see how they play into the main story, as well.
Perhaps Baptiste meets up with some Overwatch members and gets, like, recruited?

But my friend made a point about how Ana probably didn't reveal herself to her husband yet and that moment was before her injury.
