@peak escarp I think a series that started early isn't something that needs time. They can totally do a series of Overwatch in the past. Focusing on different people stories of some other characters past. This is one of those games where I think the characters have so much thought and care put into them that they can stand on there own outside of the game.

Yeah, and it feeds into his whole "keep fighting til he's dead" thing Soldier has. His war is never over, etc.
But a big part of why he feels that way is likely because he knows even if he stopped right then and there, it's too late to go back and have the life he wanted.
