we can assume that talon wont be making their debut for now as it does heavily focus on the null sector invasion like you said. but blizzard wants as much heroes as possible to appear in the storyline. and this is talon were talking about. although, of course, were not sure of that yet, but imo it would be a waste if sigma only had a bit of screentime cause i can see some potential from him for the story as we see talon later on.

it still is an overpowered ability. prior to what Doctor_Six said, there will be no way to contain him if he were to realize talon's true motives (if that is he opposed to it). hes a valuable weapon of destruction. lets say that he was taken into talon a year before zero hour, undergone in practicing to keep his fractured mind safe, keeping control of his powers as it develops overtime (i think his emotes is notable for this reason). but still, regarding to his powers going out of control, considering his unstable mentality on top of that, not even the pieces on his head (that keeps his mind safe) will help anymore, and could just erupt a massive force effortlessly.
