Telomeres are the protective caps on the end of DNA strands. Animals that do not seem to age, like hydra, can repair thier telomeres. Human can not repair telomeres, thus aging. Moira is basically cheating death by placing genetic coding on those telomeres. Things that induce super strength, etc.
And probably not intentional, but a "genetic chimera" is when one organism has two distinct genetic codes. Chimera is good enough as a genetic supersoldier monster project lol, but a genetic chimera fits too!
And yay atleast we can get some lore to explain Vendetta's superhuman feats (supersoldier + healing) even if the prior vids didn't make much sense.

I really like the writing they did for Moira's story.
The first half has her talking about retroviruses, which are unique in that they use RNA to then reverse to create DNA in a host cell (reverse being the reason they are called RETRO viruses). She then discusses having to reverse engineer reyes.
Then she talks about binding agents etc, then discusses her collaboration with Doomfist and Vendetta.
It's nice flavor for the text, I hope we can get more like this writing style in the future

The Supersoldier serum is different from Moira's serum.
Seemingly the super soldier serum impacts whole DNA stand, so that the soldiers can pass down the genes to offspring.
Moira's serum binds to the "end cap" of DNA, telomeres, and inject the new genetic sequence. Telomeres are repeating nonsense patterns of DNA that protect the true DNA information.
I don't know if telomere sequences are passed down thru generations, but Moira's genetic serum might be a one time administered serum? iirc a single species all have a similar telomere sequence.

Epigenetics too (markers that turn on or off genes, think of epigenetics as software for DNA hardware) between males and females can determine things in offspring.

If anything it would be the average human body adjusting to extremes of muscle use and higher rates of body repair and faster reflexes that the human body has not adapted for. Lots of wear and tear and pain from healing.

"Metabolic respite" is lowering the % of metabolism.
Over exertion requires rest, otherwise the body takes damage.
Think of like, extreme adrenaline situation where you lift a car to save someone (even with correct form), you would need to take a big rest afterwards to heal your body -- both doing and repairing are high metabolism.
Ice baths for fevers, fasting to slow metabolism, etc, is a way to induce "metabolic respite" where metabolism is lowered.
I don't think this term was used accurately in context of the video imo (metabolism is used in repair and rest of muscles), BUT it still isn't technically incorrect bc pro athletes do icebaths etc (edit: or might be referring to sleep, the metabolism lowers during sleep)
Basically Moira was saying Vendetta wants 100% ability with no rest periods.

I presume Moira found a way to repair telomeres (her enemy is "mortality" in that line with Ram) otherwise yeah her serum makes no sense, the code would be lost as the telomere shortens overtime.
So, assuming Moira found a way to repair telomeres to make this make sense (fits with her goals as said prior),
This would mean that Moira's serum reduces if not eliminates aging, as well as stamping the supersoldier sequence away from your regular DNA in the telomere-- makes it much safer to insert a chunk at the end rather than edit your vital dna. This would mean the "random junk pattern" in telomeres used as a protective cap, is actually a self repairing super soldier boost to every single DNA strand in the body. Meaning that even if Moira's serum doesn't get to every cell, eventually all non augmented cells will age and die off, only leaving the augmented cells.

Moira's telomere application is indicated as a new method where it's SEP DNA + Moira self repairing dna in a telomere. We can assume that the og super soldier serum impacted base DNA and not telomere.

regarding this instance where Mina is reporting that omnics on the line claimed to "hear the music" and left - keep in mind a few things
- the Awakening (when they heard the music) wasn't an all-at-once thing like a lightswitch. It took time for it to reach every omnic, "take root" and take effect. We're not sure how long that was, but it seems like it was weeks to even months in some cases.
- even after the fact, no one understood what was going on, least of all omnics! This means that for these omnics in the post in particular, they were first awakened, next they learned they didn't need to follow Anubis's override, so the next thing that they did was go back to doing what they were built/programmed to do because they just didn't know anything else. Then, slowly they realized that they actually did have a choice and that since they heard the music (were awakened), they could choose to go live a life instead of what they were doing

but I'm not sure where you're taking the remaining two being the same
we know of one blond female crusader - the one from the tavern, who was pounced at by an OR14, wearing generic armor

and when you unwrap a 3d mesh you would use that and the colored parts go on the actual mesh itself

That'd probably be it. Right now, it seems the few members of NEW! OW are just vigilantes

in a way they all are until they are legalized again. The public of many nations might support that but the UN may not want em back after what got them disbanded. You also possibly have external powers pushing such as Vishkar. They are not nice people and I doubt they would want OW poking around their skeleton filled closets. Which would happen due to Sanjay being with Talon.
