I would love to see them fill out some of these factions a bit more. I think it looks like one of the 5 silhouette heroes could be a part of Hashimoto due to their horns so that’s cool since Mitzuki seems to be leaving them. But I would love one of the others to be deadlock gang or more related to junktown like a feral omnic saved by Hammond or something

Based on the established Overwatch lore, Junkrat and Roadhog remain officially banned from Junkertown by the Junker Queen.

The Exile following a string of chaotic offenses, including stealing from the Queen and blowing up her "summer shack," the duo was exiled and ordered to be shot on sight.

a failed return whwre they attempted to return in the "Junkertown: The Plan" short in 2017 to bribe their way back in, the plan resulted in further failure and continued banishment.

and their current status as of the latest narrative updates in Overwatch 2, including the lore in A Friendly Rivalry, they are still considered dangerous outcasts by the Junker Queen, forced to navigate the Wasteland rather than living in the city.
While they occasionally try to return, they have not been permanently reinstated into the Junker society.

It's more like a light slice-of-life moment, not a status change in the lore where they might be getting closer to her. So their spot is being kept in Independent.

he then killed the second doomfist and became doomfist, he got arrested by overwatch in singapore and was jailed, he escaped jail and stole back the gauntlet and attacked Numbani
