I may be remembering wrong but it was some shit about how Illari’s powers caused such an extreme detonation bc she was linked somehow to the US soldier enhancement program soldier 76 and reaper were in (I think it was implying one or both parents were part of it), her powers were stronger than others hence the lethal explosion and when she was doing it the conspiracy snuck in and took something
