I think the sadest part is that based on Efi's involvement with decoding a nullsector signal, I think we might have gotten to see 3d model PVE Orisa and Efi interactions... very sad all those cinematics are forever locked away.

I think it's really cruddy the writers aren't giving Vendetta the time and care her character deserves in writing to be portrayed as a competent villainess that can actually go toe to toe with competent foes without making Vendetta rely on bs plot armor. It's a real disservice to her character, like just let two characters be competent on screen at the same time pls.

I do not find it all that compelling to read about Vendetta's POV if she's only going to dramatically aura farm while shoving aside prior character's competency, she's a nepo baby war criminal + negative racial stereotype, Who gaf what Vendetta thinks if all she thinks is "i am superior, deserving of power, because of my bloodline".

Atleast doomfist negotiated with characters to let the audience engage with his evil philosophy to showcase why it's not "aura" and not moral, like the way Doomfist interacts with Efi and Orisa in the long novel. It's disturbing, not "ohhh so badass". Doomfist is not peak writing by any means, but atleast we aren't getting hard POV aura farming monologs from doomfist 24/7 in the media that has him appear.

Doomfist shared the space with other characters on screen, while Vendetta hogs the space and focus. There's no conversation with Vendetta, it's "give me power or die".

and with his addition their place and relevance in the story has not change at all

imo it would've been more satisfying and thrilling if, rather than vendetta, it was an omnic recreation of her or another character whose omnic status was not revealed until the end of the cinematic

since that already has a basis in lore and omnics would have a vested interest in running or having an eye on talon
