I still don't understand how you thought Brig was equal to Genji
she hasn't even done anything in the lore besides that shield thing in Zero Hour
Which lore character do yall want to see added into Overwatch
Based on an assumption and a bit of the cinemic we see
I really want Maximillian but I know it’ll never happen
assumption
Yes the lore is so shit
you can't make assumptions and claim they're lore
It’s an assumption based on the interactions they have, genji commenting on them sparring and brig been seen in trh cinematic to keep pace and track with genji on even grounds
Only outspeeding her when he manuevers on higher ground like the buildings
Based on that I think it’s fair to say Theh are similar power levels
A random kid doesnr spar with Mike Tyson everday
I think they are similar in power level
there's only one interaction about them sparring
Brigitte: Aw, come on. I didn't hit you that hard.
Genji: If that is the case, our enemies have much to fear.```
Mhm
I don't think that implies she is stronger than him
I think the only issue with that is brig has a lot less experience
only that she can hurt him
Ofc not but u don’t spar somebodu ur weaker then
I strongly doubt that Genji would be using his full strength when sparring with Brigitte
So many people spar with people weaker than them
True but her durability should be higher too tbh seeing as she designed and upgraded reins latest armour her armour should be equally as good the only limit is how much she can carry
Same with brig u don’t go all out sparring
It’s the ole argument about speed vs durability
And she is shown in the cinematic to be able to keep up in speed wirj him
At least on even ground
Also do we need to talk about in the literal main cinematic of Genji and Hanzo that he is capable of controlling both his and hanzos dragons with his sword
Also genji doing more damage to robots then brig doesnt really show shit
It’s easier to cut soemthing then bash something in
when does she keep up with him?
Hanzo has never been going all out
I forgot which but it’s one of the robot cinematics or animated comics
Theres so many of them
I think brig easily loses that 1v1 imo
she's only in one cinematic
Must be an animated comic
I forogt where I saw it
WAIT NK
I REMMBER
it’s the one where Lucio brig rein tracer are deployed to rio
Genji orsia overhyped as shit
Sombra too
Echos lore is so empty
I csnt call her overhyped tbh

not sure what you mean by "keeping up with"
they're all fighting bots
not exactly a challenge
She didn’t run she just whipshot
that's my point
I don't know what other clip you mean, this is the official Rio mission
if you're talking about gameplay, that's not canon
Honestly I’m too lazy too
I can probablt find it but even if I donit won’t chsnge anyrhing 😒
U still won’t agree with me
😞 😞 😞
Building armor does not equal fighting capabilities is my issue
She can build armor but Genji cuts through entire huge omnics in cut scenes
Building armour does = durability
Reins armour is shown to be stronger then thst hollow shit
But rein has a lot more armor than brig
the lore has shown many times that cyborgs are stronger than humans, and almost as strong as omnics
Fair but ay
what do you think cyborg means?
A cyborg is somebody’s who bodu is majority metal, cybernetics like 90% of the cast havr are just enchmanets or replacements for limbs
Cassidy has a metal arm but he ain’t a cyborg
Sojourn is more cybernetic than Genji
No shes not
yes she is
Sojourn's cybernetics are her entire body
she cannot take them off
her organs, bones, arms and legs
she has an autoimmune disorder and has been getting cybernetic replacements since she was 13
They are enchamnets not replacements
Is a fucking human wirj a metal heart
A cyborg now
I can go that now
??
I can em get an artificial heart to pump my shit
Genjis entire body got rebuilt by tech
Like cyborg from justice league
Soj just got parts enhanced
false
yes
Cyborgs don’t exist twin
if you replace most of your organs and bones with cybernetics, you would be a cyborg
Breathing deeply, Chase explains it the way she has a thousand times. “I have a condition—an autoimmune disease. My spine, heart, lungs, and most of my bones were replaced with cybernetics in a medical procedure. I can prove it—
Sojourn is so cybernetics that the scanners mistake her for an omnic
I can get most of that shit today
Replace my limbs my heart my limbs metal rods in my spine
she has synthetic skin over her arms and legs
you definitely can not get all cybernetic limbs and most organs and bones advanced as sojourns in today’s tech what are you on about 😭
ight my wife has been talkin about this conversation and I had to join and put my 2 cents in. Brig < Genji and no you could not get 90% of the cybernetics Sojourn has today. 99% sure this guy is rage baiting lmao
Oop
Replace your heart? yea its called a pacemaker and is extremely fragile. replace your limbs? sure! you would barely be able to pick up a soda can, let alone a weapon. metal rods in your spine would make you less mobile, you would not be able to move like sojourn xD
But I can technically habe everythint she has
Woukd thst make me a cyborg? No
yes it would.
LOL
you're ragebaiting.
A cyborg (/ˈsaɪbɔːrɡ/, a portmanteau of cybernetic and organism) is a being with both organic and biomechatronic body parts. The term was coined in 1960 by Manfred Clynes and Nathan S. Kline.[1] In contrast to biorobots and androids, the term cyborg applies to a living organism that has restored function or enhanced abilities due to the integration of some artificial component or technology that relies on feedback.
"a being with both organic and biomechatronic body parts"
having a pacemaker would make you a cyborg. if you have a mechanical prosthesis, that makes you a cyborg.
Cybernetic-Organism. CYB-ORG :)
My question is why does it matter to a video game what you can actually get done irl.
If someone was in Genjis situation or sojourns situation they would not be alive
lol
just to clarify, a pacemaker isn't an artificial heart - it's a device that gets implanted into your chest with leads going into the main ventricles of the heart that will shock it when the rhythm is abnormal. Artificial hearts do exist, but a pacemaker is different.
I was actually looking into this, I stand corrected lol. there is a artificial heart with a pump/vacuum that entirely replaces the heart. however, I would still stand by the fact that it would be fragile and not an "enhancement". thanks for the clarification tho :)
mauga will be real in a few years
big buff dude with two hearts
Both hearts PUMPING xD
one artificial
Also if you look at brig in game or in any cinematic. She doesn’t even have that much armor covering vital places. Meaning Genji hits her with one good sword shot and she loses
She is missing armor on the fronts of her thighs and there are obvious gaps in her armor near her arms and stomach area. Meaning that she is not covering vital organs and would not win a fight against Genji who is a trained swordsman
Bc cyborgs arent a real thinf
If I can get all of sojs shit done on me
It’s not a cyborg
I just picked a random message to reply to. Obviously you know a lot about the lore. Do we have any information about what Moira did to reaper to make him how he is
you can keep denying a definition but you are wrong
I sent you the genuine definition of the word
i think everyone just stop replying to this person (brig main)
rage baiters lol
fr
Yall brought me into this stupid chat to ask me sormthing then call it rage bait
Don’t ASK ME SHIT AND @ ME THEN
Aren't both his hearts mechanical now
Maybe I'm misremembering but I'm pretty sure he got the first one added
I think they are both mechanical?
And then eventually replaced the original real heart
Yea
I think one of my favorite interactions in game is when venture calls reaper a nickname that sombra told them to call him
They call him gabrielita or something and he’s like “Sombraa 😒”
What lore is coming next year??
I haven’t payed too much attention to lore in a while/lore announcements
idk but i heard the lore is gonna pick up again next year
hope so
pacemakers dont replace your heart
oh i was scrolled up
it isn't clarified, but because of her speciality being genetics we can probably guess that it was some kind of gene therapy
it was small at first, but then when he got blown up she gave him a mega dose to keep him alive
yeah basically
Oof
I want to read all the lore but I’ve seen so many of the cinematics so many times and I don’t wanna rewatch them again but I can’t remember what I’ve seen and what I haven’t
You've seen them so many times you don't want to rewatch yet you can't remember which ones you've seen?
Just pick your favorite heroes and watch and read the lore for them and go from there
More like I just don’t know the names of the cinematics and so I’ll watch it but know what’s gonna happen in the entire thing
Like when I click on one I’ll go “oh I’ve seen this one before” and then I’ve gotta just click onto the next one and go through each one and see if I’ve seen it or not
Just wondering, what exactly is a feral omnic?
Are they mindless savages, or would one with a train of thought work
Rammatra
wait where in lore does it say feral omnivores
The only feral omnics we have heard about are in the outback of Australia
We don't exactly know what it means
IMO I think it was something added for OW2 and the soft-retcon of the junkers hating omnics
Ok they still hate omnics BUT it's feral omnics they have been hunting/fighting
I think feral omnics are probably omnics that totally live off the grid and are aggressive when they come across humans probably due to how they were treated
prob
Iirc in the start of the Hammond comic they fight a couple and they’re at least conscious enough to spout some dying curses.
Sorry I meant to reply to this guy
lol
Hey guys, I’m back on OW after a long break and trying to finally finish my PS4 Platinum (sitting at 95%). I just need 4 trophies left — the 2 Zenyatta ones plus the Roadhog + Lúcio environmental kill ones. Is anyone able to help me out and/or give me some tips on how to get them? Would really appreciate it!

ILLARI LORE — PART 1: ORIGINS, BACKGROUND, AND EARLY LIFE
Birthplace and Cultural Roots:
Illari hails from the mountainous region of Peru, steeped in rich Andean culture, and shaped by ancient traditions. Her home lies within a secretive and spiritually driven society known as the Inti Warriors, protectors of the Sun Temple—a place infused with celestial energy. The name "Illari" itself is rooted in the Quechua language, meaning "dawn" or "radiance," symbolizing light, rebirth, and the will to protect.
The Inti Warriors are descendants of ancient guardians chosen by the Sun God Inti, who imbued their bloodline with a special connection to solar power. They wield this energy not through advanced Overwatch-like technology alone, but through a hybrid of mysticism, solar-tech engineering, and spiritual discipline.
Illari, born under a solar eclipse (a rare and symbolic event for the Inti), was considered a child of prophecy. According to ancient scrolls preserved by her people, an eclipse-born would one day rise as the Solar Sentinel, a protector of balance in a future age of chaos.
Her family lineage carried a mix of pride and pressure. Her mother, Yuriko, was a healer and solar priestess; her father, Tupaq, was a craftsman who built solar cannons and armor for the Inti guards. Illari was trained from a young age to inherit the best of both worlds: the healing arts and martial capability.
Training with the Inti Warriors
From the age of six, Illari underwent intense spiritual and physical training at the Solar Citadel, a temple-city nestled in the peaks of the Andes. The young warrior acolytes were taught how to connect with the sun’s energy, meditate under solar convergence points, and wield specialized gear forged from solarium crystals—a mysterious mineral that absorbs and channels sunlight.
Her mentor, Grand Seer Alqamar, recognized her potential early.
that’s prolly pin worth NOT PIN WORTHY STUPID AND WORTHLESS
It's AI generated
I read the first half and there’s just random things in there that are irrelevant and don’t sound accurate
Like she doesn’t have a mentor. That’s made up
Chatgpt wasn't accurate for me
then use your own brain lil bro
dependent creature
Like holy ;-;
i don’t have to explain myself
Im not a fan of omnics
okay then i mean creature as in i have a strong distaste for people reliant on ai
you added nothing of value by adding that paragraph of untrue information and then acted like it wasn’t your fault when you said “chatGPT wasn’t accurate for me” when you could have just looked stuff up(?) if you actually wanted to know more about illari or to spread information about her
I never said it wasn't my fault
well that is what it sounded like
sounded like you were blaming the ai for giving you false information
as if that isn’t a well known fact
Why even serious about the lore?

Is there a timeline anywhere
pretty sure Doc has one in the Pinned messages
Who the fuck is Grand Seer Alqamar
Next time you're going to try to contribute something regarding a character's Lore, at least do your own research and don't use an AI, Btw sorry maybe I sounded a bit rude with that
You know how for some reason Kiriko is 21 while her brothers are pushing 40?
Why not just make Genji and Hanzo younger why are they pushing 40 in Overwatch 2
Early to mid 30s seems reasonable
I’m sure there are some continuity issues that come with that tho
Kiri should be older we all know
People in their twennies being "childhood friends" with someone who is five, got matching bowlcuts, went to arcade together etc as friends we all know is off
Hanzo and Genji are not her brothers 🙂↕️
it’s already been confirmed she is actually 26
they just haven’t changed it in game for some reason
I know they’re not related
Not even cousins just family friends
I’m exaggerating kinda
Because older sells worse or sum
They wanted young cool japanese girl without the effort
yea
her actual age doesn't matter, people still think she's a teenager
I understand why they made kiriko look so young- but it’s unfortunate, because I think it would be cool if she had more scars or facial lines, like most people her age do
shitposting
yea fr
Like mei was 31 before she was frozen for like 9 years and she looks over a decade older than kiriko- when they’re only 5 years apart physically (since mei didn’t change at all from the 9 years canonically)
Idk I feel like what made Ana’s character so good is how much she’s experienced and how you can visually see that in her character design, I wish they would do that for more of their female characters:/
I dont know many 26 year olds with scars or facial lines
Every 26 year old I know has both
not as much as a grandma ofc but they have smile lines and stress marks
You’re telling me kiriko would’ve never fallen off her bike and gotten a cut that left a scar? And she never smiled enough to get smile lines?
Blizzard's art style is soft - even older characters like Ana, Sigma and Reinhardt don't have a lot of wrinkles/lines on their faces
They do tho?
she's also healed by the kitsune
idk what characters you’re seeing
Scars are healed wounds
There’s no excuse to her not having scars except for they just don’t want her to have scars- and we all know the reason why💀💀
I know I want to because I’m interested in the topic
you can just talk without pinging me
Ok
I mean scars themselves aren’t a fixation for me- I think they are cool for character design but I guess i wish kiriko had more detail in her physical design that matched her personality and age more
I wish they would correct her bio so we know what her age actually is
So valid lmfao
Sorry I’m used to replying to people so sry if I ping u
they fixed Sojourn's age when problems were pointed out with it, so why not Kiriko?
they even retconned Zenyatta's age entirely in OW2
idk I have a crazy theory about it but I’m not gonna get into it lmfaooo/hj
It’s not that crazy of a theory but still it’s not lore related so I won’t bring it up
what's the theory? they want her to look young to sell more skins?
yeah lmfao- like the gatcha game weirdo demographic I feel like
I can't deny she gets an unfair amount of skins... but I also really like most of them so
It’s a easily profitable market all they have to do is have a conventionally attractive young female character and make skins of her and there’s a demographic who will always buy them
I like 90% of skins.. but I’m saving up for a really expensive car so I buy none of them🙁🙁🙁
rip
I feel like they do it in a way that isn’t so obvious that everyone can enjoy kiriko still but her full potential is held back a bit
Just my opinion, a theory, and in Minecraft
lol
But I will forget about the theory and abandon it completely if they add mama hog
Invalid, you misspelled hong

shes the youngest (ow2 wont grow characters age by some reason lol
wait are the actually related… i thought it was a saying or smth
kiriko is a shimada?
no
well no she isn’t
her mother was the Shimada swordmaster and her father was their weaponsmith
so as a child, she trained with the brothers
Orisa is like 1
the youngest humans are Illari [18] and Wuyang [19]
the youngest heroes overall are Orisa [1], Echo [14] and Wrecking Ball [16]
oh ok
i thought it was smth like that
thanks!
Kiriko not being shimada, at least from her mother’s side, is the biggest Mandela effect in this franchise.
It’s hog right?
Explain the lore behind my stadium dps queue being 25 minutes

Mb bro

thank you
his healing and speedboost fyi arent canon
theyre just like, giving hype music and uhh soothing
hm I do wonder if there is something to the hard light healing, after all
because he does use hard light - his dad's tech
like, I know now in the lore he probably does not canonically have healing but there might be something down line where he adopts healing tech to his kit
Or healing hard light tech in general is adapted, giving us more Vishkar characters
Weaver's biolight is probably the closest 'healing' hard light in lore
we already have the healing hard light with LW
Yeah
But like if Vishkar starts looking into something like that to go into the medical world as well
That'd be interesting, especially on how Ziegler may react to it 🙂↕️🙂↕️
Is it hard light, fire light, or bio light? In game he says fire light I’m pretty sure unless I’m totally hearing him wrong
I think he says "bio light"
it's just his soft voice and most probably in-game noise making it sound distorted
Yo.
have they 100% dropped the lore? any chance if it coming back in teh future
like anime or sumn
ill repeat my analogy:
atm its like we are in a filler arc in an anime. we get consistent worldbuilding and basic "this faction exists and now you know more about it!" type of lore
we arent moving forward, we are basically constantly getting new parallel stories
think of it as theres a line of when null sector attacks on cities are happening and somewhere along that line stories are getting added such as "oh they attacked this city and wuyang protected it, how far in the timeline are these attacks now? good question."
do we think they will eventually move forward
or do we think we’re just going to be stuck where we are for the foreseeable
I think we will move forward sooner or later
It would be a shame if we stuck at where we are
100% agree
Shroomie on twitter posted an interesting thread theorizing that the gladiator hero coming next is going to be associated/affiliated with Talon
drawing parallels between their teaser and doomfist's
I thought it was pretty interesting
I’m not sure if I’d like this really..
We already have a ton of evil tanks. Would rather the next villain be a support or a dps
it is weird how tanks have a tendency toward villain and bad actor archetypes
well it's likely - not certain, but likely - that the next DPS will be Anran
but Gladiator girl being affiliated with Talon sounds interesting at least
I kind of wonder if she's going to be related to the anti-omnic storyline too. She very much looks human imo, but a human fighting gladiator matches against omnics and possibly other enhanced humans...
idk it could really be a lot of tension
I think she’s gonna be more related to the archives plot.
Being related to the guy they killed at the end of the event and trying to enact revenge
Possible
Another foil for Talon at least
Still, we haven't gotten a Talon hero since Mauga
But they have been peppering in a lot of indie heroes and nonOW/Talon heroes too
lore wise, sigma is the strongest character right? i remember reading that somewhere but im not sure, i also heard lifeweaver is quite strong
(nvm just checked the pins, but i do wonder who the strongest is)
it's subjective and conditional, there's no clear cut answer
I feel like canonically Sigma and Illari are probably two of the most powerful characters in the roster
this ^
like we have one (1) villain support
ngl I don't really think they are paying attention to the faction or motivations of characters when they decide to make a hero a certain in-game role
In-game roles are not canonical like a hero's motivation are
It was so annoying how before Sigma, it was constantly being insisted, "we need a Talon tank"
Actually, there's no confirmation that the teased Hero 45 - the female gladiator- is going to be a tank, is there?
We're just assuming she is a tank based on release patterns, which aren't set rules devs follow
nah i get that completely!
and i also doubt they focus on the lore aspect of it more than how they play in game
just from a lore pov it sucks because moira is herself on a team of support heroes canonically lolol
Here's a lore topic. Is the basis of characters like Kiriko and Wuyang based more in magic or very very advanced technology?
At what point does it stop being technically possible and become just entirely magic bound?
And would you argue at best that its a hybrid? A sort of alchemy where it's a fusion of tech and magic?
it's tech; there's no magic in overwatch
so do we think Venture actually eats rocks? Thanks -star girl
i can dig that
oh I've never thought of it that way before ha ha
youre welcome ❤️
huh?
huh?
What?

Why?
please stop

i really wish they didnt add magic to the lore like for why does kiri do the things she do
i was typing that first
?
stargirl whats your favorite part of the overwatch lore
thanks for asking!
i like when symmetra set fire to a low income area in her comic
i like when they make a hero complicated
what is your fav part of the lore slugling?
i liked this part too !! 😄
my favorite part was when they bombed bap's village!
oh
thats cool i think
what part of Ireland did Moira grow up in?
i really wanna know since im from there
moira actually grew up on Mars with her scientist family! a common misconception about overwatch is that this storyline belongs to the charactere "juno" but, as it turns out; juno isnt real. the overwatch community created her as a collective figment of their imaginations. the truth is, a chicken did fry that rice and moira is a martian
go tell all your friends
i thought that was the flying girl
😄 👍
Is mercy and Reinhardt a thing?
If not I don't know why, since dude is a tank and she is a healer it only makes sense
we don't know where she grew up, or anything about her youth really
don't listen to the troll
stargirl is not a troll dont call her that
It's true I was the chicken
no?
rein and ana are/were far closer from what we see
Dang for real? That's a let down😭
where did you get the idea of mercy and rein out of curiosity?
listen to some of ana and reins lines. while not canon because.. obviously, they’re much different to anyone else’s
im so glad
i thought i was in a nitemare but thx 2 u i no now that juno is just a figment of my imageination
I want more Kiriko
Just watch the movie
4 hours
When I play with my buddies I play a horrible rein so mercy is my little pocket and so it just branched into me shipping them together and I came here hoping
Overwatch has a movie?
Where do you find it?
Youtube
Find a chronological order playlist one
Prob will have 2 small movies and the rest is origin stories of characters
Alright for sure I'll give it a little peek thanks 🤙
👍
It
's a compilation of animated shorts
There's not an actual OW movie but it would be cool to have one
in the pins of this channel, there are lists and links to the various media
When did glup shitto meet tracer in the lore?
his old concept art seems to imply he was gonna have cyber stuff, perhaps at first they made it that he controlled water with a mind implant
Wait yall
Smth im not getting here
So widow
Did she kill her husband or no?
Cuz idk where but i saw that she killed her husband despite her still having her free will
she did
brainwashed by talon
Talon kidnapped her and tortured her, turning her into a sleeper agent
after she killed him in his sleep, she feared she had nowhere to go so she returned to Talon and let them continue to work on her, supressing her emotions
Oh icic
Yea basically they forced her to come to them, even tho she regrets what she did she cant do nothin abt it now
Well, over time, her emotion suppression has worn down
That's why Moira always asks her how she feels and stuff
She's becoming more aware and sad about it all
So, widowmaker emotion revival arc coming soon 😆🥹
Do we know the abilities of the Iris/Aurora? Besides harmony and discord orbs on Zenny?
It’s implied in an interaction with Sigma that Zen’s hovering ability is caused by the Iris
That’s kinda it
As far as we know
Zen orbs arent canon in lore
Sigma coolest
I feel like ingame nothing is in lore atp
Only soldier having a gun is lore accurate 🙏
But makes sense why they did that tbh
theres quite a few things
theyre often just different
either in amount of power or exactly how its used
Midseason patch often gives little lore bits. Often, but not always. Usually some more interactions
However there's no hero release next season so it's highly doubtful there will be hero teases
We’ll probably get teases for the new hero at the end of the season
th next hero has been teased ever since stadium is playable. If they add any more teasers, it would be on Italian maps, probably
Can you elaborate?
Hero 45 is going to be a gladiator lady with a sword (probably with some energy blade), and she is nicknamed the "she-wolf of retribution"
Hoping its an actual sword and not some shooty thingy, a melee dps would be cool
Tho i cant stop thinking that this is basically magic with extra steps, she gon be Behold the fool moon in ult and do a monke type thing 😭
Tho i wonder why theres a 45 in roman numbers
Oh nvm ik why
Well i just hope she wont be a melee genji and just have a dash and a block, and acc have smth unique
It's heavily speculated she's going to be a tank, but dps is possible too
Even better tbh
But i expected dps since there are no melee dps yet, tho yea that would make sense
Seeing how she a literal gladiator
werewolf character would go CRAZY though lets be fr
i hope she's an omnic, obviously she's in armor so its hard to tell but she kinda looks like one
Yeah the eyes do kind of look lit up. Not sure if that's stylization to indicate where her eyes are or indicative that she's an omnic/cyborg/uses a helmet with lit eyes
Does anyone have the dev doodle handy? Iirc that was human looking?
Yeah she looks born human, but augmentation/cyborg not out of the question
i just hope she looks cool
aw boooooo
Please
Tho they keep adding and adding new characters without really putting them in the lore
Like they basically did with the last few characters starting from denture
If she’s the immediate next hero she’s gotta be a tank
My guess is our next dps is wuyangs sister who’s played up for it a lot
Ngl that would be cool, but how would they adapt her since she basically works the same as wuyang, but with fire
I’d imagine they’d lean more into the martial arts cause I don’t remember her actually having a staff on her in the comics like wuyang
No, she doesn't have to be a tank. It's a release pattern they followed for a few years but it's not necessarily a rule
Do I think she's going to be a tank? Probably
Does she have to be a tank? No
Didn’t they say now that there was more even numbers they’d be following the release schedule
And they have been since then
It really really would make 0 sense to randomly decide to not do that anymore
Nope, there's no "schedule" to the roles of heroes being released
In 2023 they released 2 healers and a tank, 2024 it was 1-1-1. It's been 1 whole year of that "schedule". It's not a rule
Maybe combo hero like tf2 pyro
Can anyone tell me what doomfist’s actual methodology is
Like what does talon even do
Something about strengthening the world through conflict
I want melee DPS
Yeah but like does he have a plan or does he just terrorize numbani 😭
It's implied he has some sort of plan in the works, we just don't know what the specifics are
He's teamed up Null Sector but he's recently stolen their technology for a "power source" thing
A Great Day has that "power source" thing hint
It's the most recent development
Masquerade and Storm Rising also have more hints
That's all I know from the top of my head
Tracer is or used to be the face of OW as a franchise
but lorewise Winston has plot armor
Probably winton id say
And for doom all his ideogoly is humanity fights among themselves, therefore they weak, i will become threat so big they will have yo unite to beat me, and then ill have won cuz unity or smth
Which is stupid cuz we all know the instant talon falls everyone will fight everyone again
are you saying doom is madara uchiha
I dont rlly see a full melee kit dps ever coming tbh
It would be too aggressive kinda take away from tank role ig? And genuinely would just be more situational character if anything
Like the closest we have to a full melee is either venture or genji and i think their kits work
But full melee nah
Genji becomes melee during ult too i think that showcases how strong a dps could be if for instance can hit multiple targets just from m1 hold
Tracer was the face that everyone ignored tbh
dva i think was probably the most “iconic” character of overwatch 1 as they try to push it to kiriko in ow2
Well I mean the melee DPS doesn’t HAVE to be dive or anything like brawl would work
Like there’s brig on support
And genji is strong with his melee
But that’s also his ult
Valid
this is veering into off-topic territory, but even heroes who are considered melee heroes (Brigitte, Reinhardt, Doomfist) still have ranged options because Overwatch is a hero shooter
I argue Doomfist isn’t really melee as a tank
id say doom is in a fine line split between melee and ranged, ranged because he shoots, melee bcs to have some good value he gotta get up close
All heroes need to have some kind of range otherwise flyers would have even more of an advantage than they already do
i think i made
pretty accurate canon skin list for tanks
dva - maybe academy? but only baby if you even wanna count it
doomfist - formal,talon
hazard - none
junkerqueen - wastelander
mauga - port-de-paix
orisa - or15, null sector
rammatra - traveling monk, wandering monk
reinhardt - balderich, griefhardt, liuetenant wilhelm, bundeswehr
roadhog - mako, sharkbait, militia
sigma - subject sigma, dr de kuiper
winston - specimen 28, ugly sweater
wrecking ball - horizon, lunar, junker
zarya - arctic, siberian front, weightlifter, champion
im not 100% on anything here really if anyone has thoughts
for Academy, it's actually the mech that's canon
the design comes from Mecha Guardian V, the game D.Va was a pro at
when it comes to skins with recolours, only one is canon
also D.Va has Nano Cola, which is seen in some ads in Shooting Star
but like did the mech actually exist?
ic ic
oh i missed that mb
no but that's where the design comes from
I have to update my gallery for OW2, but I made images for all the OW1 skins that appeared in canon
plus one bonus:
heh, though I do wonder how "canon" the junkrat and roadhog ones are... they're more like "convenience canon" since they animated that short in the game engine and just switched out their skins for already-existing ones to make it easier
retroactive convenience-canon
they did dress up in disguises
yes, I know but those skins weren't made with canon in mind, they were used retroactively in the short so they didn't have to come up with new assets for the short
in this case, the skins came first, then the lore. In the other cases, the skins were made because of the lore
I believe Pajamei first appeared as a spray in Archives 2017 before appearing as her outfit in cryosleep in Rise and Shine (which would have been in production at the time)
and then became a skin for Archives the following year
For rein id argue griefhardt and baldereich arent Rein's cannon but baldereich, since the griefhardt is his armor but decayed (seen in that one castle map at Point 3)
If we talk about them being cannon, then definitely yes (idk if we saw the green one in a cinematic or smth tho) but cannon as rein is defo no
I love that Hanzo's midlife crisis casual style is canon. What I know is that last Christmas the characters being in the Christmas comic also has Hanzo shown as his casual skin, meaning that he just looks like that rn. I love the look
does genji canonically dress up as "cyborg ninja" every halloween?
Does Bruce dress like a bat every night?
chat where can you read the ow comics?
It’s on the website. Under Game Info and in the Media tab
null sector isnt really orisas canon either in that sense
which fair if you dont wanna include either, but i still think its notable that the skin exists like in the lore even if the specific char doesnt wear it
@peak escarp question is dva 21 or 22 rn
k ty
How old is mercy
whats going on with cassidy/mcree
Mercy is 39
what do you mean?
Mei
any news on the phara stadium skill? triple volley
I am not caught up with the lore Ever since the whole debacle with Kiriko and the slow introduction to magic and my friend posted this on twitter, is this accurate?
https://fxtwitter.com/ancqor/status/1969303988974608667?s=46&t=7Lz8caDcZYmPbBGRQ43WUw
I would say it's not entirely accurate. For one, it's subjective, two, it's an ongoing narrative and we will definitely see them all again and third, it's been confirmed that there is no magic in Overwatch, just tech that hasn't been fully explained yet
for the bottom three rows,
Lifeweaver - an ongoing antagonist to the antagonist Vishkar and is likely going to introduce us to the Arcology
Venture - pursuing whatever ancient artefact that Talon is looking for as well- also was noticed by the "eye conspiracy" so relevant there
Hazard - is involved with Oasis now that he's stolen the vanadium. It's strongly theorized (maybe implied) that Moira wanted a human test subject for it so she is involved with that, possibly even gave him the damn suit he showed up with
Juno and Wuyang are very young so they don't have much significance. But at least Juno is tied to the ongoing Lucheng Interstellar plotline.
Mauga is also looking for the ancient artefact for Doomfist and has history with Baptiste
Junkerqueen - we'll likely see her again since she's in the process of fixing up a Null Sector ship with Wrecking Ball in hopes of going on a "road trip"
Kiriko - currently working on getting the Hashimoto out of Hanaoka/Tanezaka. I would bet a million dollars she joins Overwatch "soon" once that story is complete
Illari - see the most recent short story, there's too much too summarize. She'll be important again, surely
the whole thread - which I suspect is written with AI - is poorly-written. It's equating "introduced a new faction and setting" with "not advancing the story" which isn't true, and also preemptively saying that "they did one thing and now they're irrelevant" since they haven't (YET) continued their respective stories. Like I said, it's an ongoing narrative
imagine thinking a hero's relevance is only what we see at their launch
D.va, Zarya, Lucio, Baptiste, all heroes who were relatively unimportant at launch and became more entangled in the plot as it progressed
for some that took years
I feel like that's a better approach than just putting someone inside the lore all of a sudden
sometimes it can't be avoided
it would have been nice if we saw Ashe in Cassidy's lore before she was added, but she was made up for the Reunion short
technically she was retconned in - as was Cassidy being a founder of the Deadlock gang (before Ashe's introduction he was only known to be a member)
the lore is constantly growing and evolving
but sometimes we get things the other way around - like with Brigitte, who was in the lore for 2 years before becoming a hero, and Emre, who we're still waiting for since 2018
soj too
it's hard for them to plan out heroes in advance, because sometimes it doesn't work out
we were supposed to get Mauga in 2019, but the kit they made didnt suit him, so they made Sigma instead
then again in OW2 s2 Mauga was supposed to be released, but he wasn't ready, so they released Ramattra instead (who was supposed to be released after Invasion)
releasing Ramattra early kinda ruined the suspense of Invasion
(at that point they knew PvE was going to be cancelled so they didn't even care)
do you guys think we're ever gonna get more lore events like archives
i know the old ones are broken but could they make more of those
not necessarily set in the past but just more of those pve events with cutscenes
idk if shipping wars are allowed in lore but can i say how weird it is that phara and mercy get shipped, mercy knew phara since she was a young child and thats also the child of someone she works with.
its a forced ship
can we talk abt the lore implications of whiteluciocrying sticker
like where the fuck did this even come from
it looks like frogger
Mercy knew Fareeha when she was a teen
well, 11/12
but Mercy herself was only 17
there's something between them, but it's most likely just a strong friendship
there are no lore implications
I want them to remake Archives
we got like 5 heroes since mirrorwatch so itd be cool to get an updated one
what if winston and juno switched lore
and do some cut ones like what if winston landed in junkertown
In your guys personal is reaper in the wrong or right for killing Antonio in the retribution mission?
propaganda
I think Antonio deserved to die, but the way he did it was bad
they should have kept it quiet
how did that leak again
Reyes blasted him through a window
if they had just assassinated him quietly, they could have gotten out unnoticed and Blackwatch wouldn't have been exposed
I think Moira's treatments were giving him anger management/impulse control issues, and he just snapped while they were talking
he went in planning to kidnap Antonio and pressure him to give up the names of Talon moles
wonder how much longer blackwatch would've been a secret if that didn't happen
or how long ow would've lasted since iirc antonios killing is what brought ow down in the end
tbh it was bound to leak eventually
you can't keep something that big secret forever
OW was already under suspicion when the Venice Incident happened, that just pushed it over the edge
the real nail in the coffin was the HQ explosion - without Morrison and Reyes there to defend Overwatch, it was done for
still 6 years and also a year later pharas 12 n mercys 18
what
they're 5 years apart
so when Pharah was 12 Mercy was 17
and nowhere does it say they were friends then - they were seen in the same photo, that's it
im curious as to what exactly turned reaper evil
because afaik he had his cellular degeneration during his overwatch days
anger issues
I think its bc talon promised that they could cure him of his powers, since he kept dying and regenerating at intense speeds with a lot of pain
im not sure that explains the fact he genuinely enjoys doing evil things now😭
i think voicelines/ingame reaper and lore reaper are very different
He doesnt seem to enjoy it though. I feel like he treats it like a 9-5 job, both in lore and in voice lines. I think he just doesnt have a choice
maybe moira has something to do with it?
have yiu ever been on fire as reaper before
yea, he is my main for dps
his on fire voicelines sound a lot like he enjoys what he does
Since that comic celebrating Pride featuring Illari & S76, I've been hoping that Illari's lore will start to get more fleshed out. Does the developer team have any plans for her at all, or has she just been left by the wayside?
I thought it'd be a great direction for her if she picked up a contract with a private security organization, similar to Pharah
I have a 2020 MacBook Pro ( in excellent condition, with charger) that I’d love to pass on at an affordable price to someone who needs it. Just upgraded, so hoping it can be useful for someone else. DM me or reach out via email at fiveohjoe84@gmail.com.
it started when he reached out to Moira to help him with an unknown issue (possibly genetic, relating to his SEP conditioning?)... she took things farther than he anticipated and he gained his wraith powers shortly before the Venice Incident
when the Swiss HQ exploded with Morrison and Reyes inside, Reyes was nearly killed - Moira found him in the wreckage and saved him with a mega dose of whatever gave him wraith powers - now he's constantly decaying and regenerating uncontrollably, but he has a greater range of powers (like being able to teleport and turn entirely into smoke)
it's unknown why he stays with Talon, but he has been hunting down and executing former Overwatch agents
in the short story "Code of Violence", he talks with Doomfist after he is captured (before the explosion) and Doomfist questions whether Reyes has truly been able to make a difference in the world, first as a cop then as a soldier then as a member of Overwatch - Reyes feels frustrated that despite locking up badguys, there's always bigger badguys and corporations that go free
so he may be targeting former Overwatch members because he feels like they failed in their mission
But what’s his beef with Morrison? Or is it just OW in general?
maybe he feels like Morrison is the worst offender of all, being the leader of Overwatch but not really doing much to deal with crime? the lore hasn't really touched on it but I hope they will
I hope we'll get to see what really happened at the Swiss HQ, they've hinted at it enough
Yeah that would be really interesting. Also it’s interesting that Morrison is actively hunting Reyes as well is that because of his work with Talon?
yes
but also he knows Reaper is Reyes, so maybe part of him wants to try to save his friend
Ah that’s actually a nice way to look at it tbf
considering the last short story is about her as you said, I wouldn't call that being left aside. But the game has 40+ characters, with comics and short stories coming out slowly, so they can't satisfy everyone all at once.
not long, apparently they were already under suspicion bc of Reyes and Lacroix's "holidays" in places they shouldn't be in, and they were having seemingly pretty violent interventions (wiping out the Shimada clan) in countries that didn't want them doing that
Well, true, she hasn't been entirely forgotten
I wouldn't call that being forgotten at all
Ok, fair enough
Y'all mentionned the venice incident many times
But
Whats the venice incident
And why does it matter so much
the venice incident is when blackwatch had a mission in italy to capture a powerful member of talon known as antonio, but reyes killed him instead, forcing them to fight their way out. this led to blackwatch being revealed to the public, which eventually led to their downfall
"the Venice Incident" is how the Retribution mission from Archives is known in-universe
this is gonna sound dumb but why are the overwatch members fighting each other?
The PVP matches that we play are not cannon
it doesnt matter just a bunch of misinterpretation of what the incident was frm ppl like @hushed jetty
whar
Whats new updates
i'm excited to see what's gonna happen with this grand mesa watchpoint and the deadlock gang
didn't the reaper turning evil thing stem from jealousy of Jack Morrison getting the "leader of OW" role?
no
that is what the public believes in-universe, but the truth is still unknown
Reyes was happy to let Jack be the leader and have to deal with the beaurocracy and red tape
he wanted to do things his way without any oversight, which is what led to Blackwatch
ahh ok
Winston is actually Sombra using advanced hologram technology to control overwatch.
The sombra marionetta emote now a deep cut
Mei
I know at first glance this doesn't look like Lore but one second!
The theme for submissions is "What if the Omnic Crisis never happened"
So whatcha think
Holy peak
most of the heroes would have completely different lives if the crisis never happened
Would omnics have existed without the crisis? I don't remember if the Iris thingy that caused life was before or after
Ramattra, Orisa and Echo would not have existed
Or as a result/precursor
Bastion and Zenyatta were made before the crisis, but they'd be mindless robots without the Awakening
So the awakening was caused by the omnic crisis?
I think hanzo is one of the heroes who would have changed the least?
the Awakening ended the crisis
if there was no crisis, Aurora would have no need to sacrifice herself
Right yea
Mercy would still be a doctor but with a happy family
but no Overwatch to save Genji, so he dies
Yea
NOOOOO
Cassidy and Ashe would still be crooks
Sombra, Mercy and Baptiste aren't orphaned
What would happen to Winston
Ashe would probably be poor - her family was weapons dealers who profited off the crisis
I think the ape situation on the moon would still happen, but when Winston flees to Earth he doesn't find Overwatch, so he's never granted personhood
Lucheng probably recaptures him
Hammond crash lands in normal Australia
I guess illari sees no changes
Or was the tech and ritual a result of the crisis as well
it's unclear
It seems like something that her people would have been doing for
Years and years
But obviously that tech has to be pretty modern to the story
maybe without the tech, and the tech is just a newer thing
Yea as a response to the crisis
No crisis = no tech to make her a bomb = her people live
Torbjorn and Reinhardt would have never met
so Torbjorn's youngest daughter would not be named Brigitte
So brig would end up just being a plain old engineer too
With a different name
The more I think about it
Hazard would still be living in a shitty apartment with his dirtbag dad
I think Juno might be the least affected
with no dog and no girlfriend
No robo gf :(
Iirc the Mars colony was started before the Crisis
yes
And obviously her life wasn't affected by it at all
at least, they left for Mars before the crisis
Sojourn would still be a cyborg, since her augmentations were a life-saving measure started when she was a child
yeah they were running low on supplies and lost contact with Lucheng
Yea I assume all of the "soldier" characters from OW will just be retired veterans
Who served and likely never actually fought
Ah right so she'd still head to earth
Ana, Jack, Gabe and Reinhardt were all military before the crisis
Yea
Crusaders also existed before the crisis iirc so rein would still be a crusader
The crisis just started mass producing them
Tbf I feel like
I think the Crusaders were made for the crisis, but Rein was still in the German military before being a Crusader
Alot of the heroes like Jack and Gabe would still end up the same way as some form of conflict would have occurred but I think this alternate timeline (Neverwatch?) requires that the world was just peaceful
yeah I'm approaching it as "what if there was no conflict at all"
Nah just double checked the program started about 10 years prior to the crisis
Anubis never tried to kill all humans and just did its job maintaining the environment
ah
The suits were originally made for deep sea mining
But the German military brought the rights to it
xD
Dr. Liao probably would still be alive, since there would be no terrorist group trying to assassinate her
I feel like echo would still exist in this case?
Echo was part of Dr. Liao's efforts to recreate Aurora - if Aurora never dies, she has no reason to try to remake her
Unless she takes a different route of study because omnics never gained sentience it makes sense to me that she'd have continued to pursue artifical intelligence
maybe
Maybe not echo herself but something very similar
Echo but she's her own person instead of trying to be Aurora 2.0
Yea
Just another highly intelligent AI
Bastion might not have existed at all
If we assume the world is entirely peaceful
I mean it's unreasonable to assume that war machines weren't still created
But if this is a "perfect world" bastion may never have been built
As Anubis wouldn't have done his mass production of the bastion unit
Ah my bad
the E-54 Bastion line of omnics were made as peacekeepers for human-human conflicts
since those would still exist
Roadhog would have the quiet peaceful life as a farmer he always wanted
🙏🙏🙏
hard to say what Junker Queen would be doing
Junkerqueen would be a professional rugby star don't @ me
I can see it
But yea she could be literally anything
the next Ilona Maher
😒
There's better
Jk I love Ilona
I think Moira would be
A really interesting one
I don't think talon would have existed
Isn't current Doomfist a result of the crisis
I wanna say she'd be Portia Woodman but Portia isn't Australian either
idk she's the only muscle mommy rubgy player I know by name
xD
Nah Ilona is awesome it's valid
Portia is just my goat
also I loved her on Dancing with the Stars
Clip of barreling down the pitch and to stop a defender from Tackling her, woodman just sticks her hand out and holds the other player off by her throat
😭
i feel like echo will never have the same level of consciousness as aurora i think echo is just learning how to feel when aurora was born with that ability, echo will never match up to her but that doesnt make her less valuable just different like even orisa will have a higher level then echo imo but this is js my opinion
yeah shes js learning how to act human she cant like think shes js an ai
yeah its sad that omnics are a single generation species its rlly depressing if u think abt it
i wonder if the iris could like grant more new omnics the ability to think or smth
i wonder if echo connected with the iris and spent time at shambali would she awaken? or js get better at faking her thinking and feeling
many questions
will never be answered bc the show got canceled
alright, I have a few questions regarding the lore, so whats Juno, freja, and venture's story? Who are the ravagers? I dont mean to interrupt but I just joined and wanted to see if anyone knew the answer
did u watch the cinematics?
Juno was born on Mars - her parents were part of Lucheng Interstellar's mission to establish a colony on Mars. When the colony lost contact with Lucheng and their supplies began running low, they built a ship and sent Juno to Earth for help.
Freja is a former Overwatch agent who specialized in search and rescue. When Overwatch was shut down, it left a black mark on her record and nobody wanted to hire her - except as a bounty hunter. Now she takes bounties where she can get them and tries to hide her ties to Overwatch.
Venture is an archaeologist working with the Wayfinders to explore ruins with ties to omnics. They have had a few run-ins with Talon, and they were contacted by Sombra for possible work in the future.
The Ravagers (R7000 units) were a class of omnics made by Anubis during the crisis - they were elite units designed to lead other omnics in combat. After the Awakening and the end of the crisis, Ravagers were particularly hated by the humans who had to fight them, and most of the surviving Ravagers were hunted down. There are two known Ravagers in the lore - Ramattra (the leader of Null Sector) and Revel (one of the Phreaks who hangs out with Hazard)
wow, that was really in depth I appreciate it!!
what about the phreaks and the wayfinders?
the Phreaks are a group of anarchists who are anti-government and seem to be taking in people who were wronged by the government in some way.
the Wayfinders is an archaeologist group that is excavating ruins. Not much is known about them, but their logo appears on the Petra, Malevento and Temple of Anubis maps
Ok but what if they do announce they're making an animated series or anime.... but it's yet another China-exclusive 💀
wait for fansubs?
Blizzard wouldn't be able to shoot itself in the foot so hard
You doubting blizzard on that one bro
i think shed either be rugby or a wrestler/mma fighter
shes just the type to really like mma i bet cuz she likes fights
Winton
Winton
Hello, is anyone interested in forming a group to do the game's achievements?
“Hello everyone, is anyone here from the US? I’d really appreciate your help with something.”
i'm from brasil, sorry
Wujang lore be like hi im Harry and I went to hair school
Watch them do it tho... lol all these region-locked events to China. Watch it be leading up to a series that focuses on or has Wuyang as the POV character
(which ngl would kind of fit with a shonen-type series, "beginner character introduced to a new world" tropes)
I'm halfway joking with the cynicism but see potential in my cynical doomerisms
yeah I mean personality-wise he's basically this "generation"'s Tracer
optimistic, trying best, silly lil "power" - very shonen protagonist
like... it'd surprise me if they really were doing an animated series but IF they were, it wouldn't surprise me if that's one of the routes they took because let's be real, the target audience for an OW series would be the "shonen" audience
That was a big appeal of Arcane too
Our heroes are young, naive and thrusted into adulthood when they aren't ready for it
And the fight scenes are animated with that hyper fast paced, fantasy esq, anime vibe
And I agree it would work great for Overwatch
I mean alot of the fights we have already seen in cinematics do feel Shonen and anime inspired
he definitely has the energy of one
👋
What's the general consensus on
Omnics awakening?
I know it's a common debate of "magic vs no magic!" And I'm a believer the story team insisting everything in the universe is tech based
But I'm surprised that people don't mention the awakening when discussing the matter
From my point of view, and at least as far as my knowledge goes, Omnics are genuinely sentient, with real souls, and "zero coding needed to think" (not entirely true as we see they can die and be harmed)
And that happening from one omnic(who iirc already awakened?) Ascending into the Iris
To create all other omnics sentience
Is kinda, magical?
aha! but there IS a science to sentience and such
scientists who are studying it still have a ways to go, BUT, there is a general theory that sentience and sense of self are related to or a result of gravity and by studying quantum physics, we (or rather those studying it in depth) can get closer to how that all comes to be
actually, the new Dan Brown book goes into it. I haven't read it yet but I'm interested in how the concept is explored in a fictional sense
but it seems to have an underlying theme very close to Overwatch's - but instead of omnics, sentience is granted to the golems of folklore
Icic might be a fun read
So the idea here is that in theory there is a possible explanation that we haven't discovered yet, and Aurora had access to the technically to grant sentience to every omnic on the planet through this means
yeah it's def an interesting theme to explore. To paraphrase what you said about omnics needing coding to think, how omnics are "just machines" how can they be sentient, but if you think about it in a way that's analogous to humans: humans are just series of clumps of cells that are firing at exactly the right way that we are considered sentient
Yea very interesting
Cause my understanding is that omnics still need "code" just as we need our brain chemicals, or else popping mondatta in the forehead wouldn't have done anything
But omnics can't be hacked in the same way a factory line machine could be
yes, Aurora was able to "upload" sentience to all omnics. I personally theorize that it has something to do with gravity: she 'ascended,' Zenyatta's interaction about how the Iris gives him the ability to float without propulsion, Aurora specifically chose one of the highest points in the world to ascend - and gravity and quantum physics behave differently at the highest altitudes - barely noticeably but still measurably different
exactly, just like how a body can experience death in the brain or heart and can still be kept alive artificially but the sentience isn't there, not the same way it was anyway
Yea that makes sense
You can also always chalk up "projecting the code to all omnics globally" as 'quantum physics go brrr'
I stand by the Zenyatta quote of magic being science we don't yet understand. I love the science aspect of exploring sentience and inherited memory. Shamanism, mass hysteria and second states of conscience (to link back to Zen's transcendance state) are phenomena that happen throughout history and cultures. Doesn't have to be magic.
This is all me being a non-science person making stupid science-ish guesses but Aurora's also named after a phenomenon that happens when EM waves from the sun wash over the Earth. Apparently such strong enough phenomena could completely ruin our devices, satellites, and maybe even the connexions between our synapses ? So who knows, maybe they'll bullshit their way through that?
There's a lot of mention of Radio/EM waves in the lore. Iirc, in the latest short story Vincent mentions rocks somewhere that can shelter people from being reached by Anubis (?), Aurora caused the Awakening that way, Anubis took control that way, Sombra can manipulate that through EMPs, etc.
why did i nearly almost cry watching that ram story time
damn they're really still teasing it everywhere possible lmao
as long as its a new tank hero im happy
Well it's supposed to be a tank I guess
I hope anyway
Omg ramattra storytime
This comic is peak
A long-awaited meeting…
Join Ramon Tikaram, the voice actor behind Ramattra, for a reading of our newest comic, ‘Reconciliation.’
After receiving a message from Ramattra, Zenyatta agrees to meet in King’s Row. Much has changed since they parted ways, a chasm opened between them by the Null Sector invasion, and Ramattra’s role in it. ...
This just popped up randomly in my feed lol
now THIS is the kind of lore we've been wanting!
-continues the Talon-hunting Zen bit, a bit anticlimactic there but I guess that wasn't the point
They need to cook hard next year
I am HYPED after this
only notes I have is - maybe next time they can get both voice actors to voice their characters, since they're both characters that have VAs anyway
Zenyatta just like, his kidnapping meeting could've been an email. lol nope
oh and Ramattra was in Shambali (christmas), Zen was in Suravasa/Shambali, but Ram has Talon pick him up and bring him to London... 🙃
they always do one VA for these things
I still think the Christmas is in the future, after this comic and all the Invasion stuff is settled
yeah but in the past it's pretty much been only 1 playable character focused on, and if other appear it's just a cameo or one line, this one was a whole conversation between them
oh to hear Ram's voice in a longer format 💜
VELINXI again !! 💜
She must be having so much fun haha
Andrew Robinson was the writer on most of the best lore
Which ones did he do
this is what the wiki lists
he's not specifically an OW employee, he's on Blizzard's franchises and whatever division it is that does cinematic animations, right?
Ram nation we won
Gonna watch this when i get to home
The rammatra comic is so interesting
Sucks that they stopped adding more lore I guarantee you a Netflix series would make them millions
Oh they know
