im just gonna add a take of mine
i think venture and brig type characters help alot for the more tragic characters. having not tragic or less tragic characters can help making the tragic characters feel well, more actually tragic. if every character has trauma, the trauma they have starts feeling less special and becomes well expected. similar with wuyang where he has relatable struggles but its mostly a less extreme and more grounded problem

She speaks in a softer tone compared to in-game, but she still clearly loves fighting (she had to fight since childhood pretty sure lol).
