Yes. Junkertown is built on the ruins of an omnium (omnic building factory) that was supposed to be a new place for the omnics to build a city. But the Australian Liberation Front blew it up. And the core was radioactive yes, so the entire Outback was radiated. It happened after the end of the Crisis, so I’d say ~20 years before present day Overwatch

(There’s probably someone who have a better timeframe than that, I think Mercy was already Overwatch back then, and combined with how long JQ ruled Junkertown and how long her family was threw out of Junkertown)

And B) they’d no doubt be attacked by the giant Gwishin, which attacked surrounding areas around the China Sea and with next to no self defense against such a thing and potentially still a closed off nation at the time, N. Korea could very well suffer destruction on an extremely high level

Has confirmed by game master Lalaedeu! It is the same actor, Sally Amaki, using a different version of Kiriko voice.
