One of my main concerns for gency stemmed from Genji’s bio, I think for the pve?
It was a while ago that I read this so I may be misremembering but it specifically talked of Mercy being Genji’s cyberneticist—I don’t think she previously was mentioned to have a role in the implementation of the cybernetics itself or anything with that much power in her dynamic with Genji beyond initially saving him—I feel this kind of puts another layer of doctor/patient on their dynamic that a lot of ppl already criticize the ship for even though the interactions that could be taken as romantic appear to start during storm rising, several years after Genji is first taken into overwatch iirc, and presumably several years after he leaves her care.

Though that does lead me into the main thing I’m interested in—If there is any information concerning the specific details of Genji getting rescued by Overwatch and the degree of Mercy’s involvement with it, when Genji first got his cybernetic body (and the degree of Mercy’s involvement in that—was she on a team of people, did she oversee it, or was she directly the one to implement these cybernetics?) And was Genji ever under Mercy’s direct care, and if so, when did this stop?

I’d love to hear of any info regarding the nature of their dynamic and how it has evolved if known my lore knowledge is a little rusty and I’m not sure if anything’s been added/changed
