Baptiste grew up poor and after an attack on his home, he lost his parents. Growing up, he joined Talon in order to sustain himself and was recruited as one of the best combat medics around. He also befriended Mauga, who helped him escape Talon once he decided he was done. Baptise walked around trying to repair the damage he'd done and ran into Mauga, who was trying to get Baptiste to aid him in a mission. Baptiste agreed but stabbed Mauga in the back, making him fail the mission. Baptiste helps Overwatch as an organization, hoping to stop Null Sector.

Ramattra is a bot made for war, who was used in the Omnic Crisis. After Overwatch stopped the Crisis, Rammatra was one of the few Ravagers left. He befriended Zenyatta, whom learned and spent time with Mondata. After some time though, Rammatra got tired of waiting doing nothing, and tried to make peace with humans. That fails horribly, he loses friends and it reinforces his hatred for humans. He and a couple buddies then get together and plan an attack on the public. Leading to the death of another of his friends, and the other two backing out. Rammatra doubled down however, and continued to build Null Sector, with the help of Talon.
