Forward time travel is more tangible than backwards travel, as you could be in a vehicle under intense gravity while moving at near lightspeed

It’s entirely plausible for someone experiencing shell shock from years of fighting and watching loved ones die and get dismembered, all he’s experienced Is being born in the late years and fallout of the omnic wars, then getting sent to ww1 then going through an economic collapse, then dealing with a second sword war, and now dealing with null sector and OW at the same time, he’s been living in a version of hell that would literally require a complete overhaul of all the trauma he’s experienced, which has been most of his life, and because of his fractured perception and multiple injuries that have caused incredible amounts of damage, and frankly some of the worst conditions a person can go through

(Also he was fighting as a German in ww1 and against the Germans in ww2) because he’s half German half Irish and went to America to live his life, right before the economy collapsed, and then he was drafted into ww2 were he had to fight against the loved ones of his friends

According to the novel that has Sojourn as the main protagonist, we get a little bit of insight to how much of her body is cybernetic. Her legs and arms are cybernetic, she also sports an artificial heart, both of which allow her to run faster and harder than un-augmented humans. Her eyes are cybernetic, sporting infra-red vision and is linked with CSOR's intelligence network, giving her a detailed real-time view of battles. Her brain has also received cybernetic upgrades, and she's strong enough fight off omnics with her bare (metallic) hands. At the age of 13, her spine, lungs, and most of her bones were replaced with cybernetics and metal-equivelants.

Then Junkrat found something in the destroyed omnium that is very valuable and everyone wants. It's very likely not an actual treasure bc why would that be in an omnium? My theory is it's something along the lines of code, maybe something that is unique to omnics (versus just robots or drones) that was what Aurora utilized to give sentience, or maybe something along the lines of a killswitch code or override program.
