I like that Zen is younger than his student. It's an endearing quality that he's so respected while being one of the youngest heroes (not taking into account that he was "born" an adult I guess)
Pharmercy isn't confirmed, but the writers also didn't need to bring up this ship at all for the pharah lesbian confirmation but did anyway. I feel like they're sowing the seeds for something because why else would they willingly fan the flames?
And that something could be that the ship remains unrequited or gets confirmed but either way it doesn't make sense to me for the writers to poke that bear if they didn't intend to wake it up.
