I found out that there was actual lore behind the whole thing only recently, and as I've been mostly playing tank and mostly playing sigma as a tank I wondered, whats his story ?

until Talon stole him out and gave him a lab to work in, secretly using his research for their own benefit

Doomfist wants humans to evolve through war so they can become stronger. Moira is just apart of Talon because they will fund her expirements to evolve humans and creatures as it is (Reaper expirement) and Maximillien is a crime boss with hierarchy in Talon, and Sanjay is fully in it for the money. Sombra is in Talon because they help her with her desires and Sigma is a prisoner believing that he is more free than he once was

This is seen in multiple popular franchises, like Percy Jackson and God of War. As opposed to Orisa, Ramattra has no similarities to Poseidon. They could have given him the mythic skin as Zeus, which would make more sense for him too because they could have replaced his purple energy shit with lightning, and made his staff into the bolt.
